Five minutes of hate news

It's been a while since I watched his video on Rittenhouse. But legal eagle did say that Rittenhouse using self defense was legally valid, he just also said that Gage Grosskrutz would also possibly have a valid claim of self defense if he had shot Rittenhouse.
Its been a while for me too, but I thought he had Rittenhouse pretty wrong. Honestly, I don't really want to take the time to check right now, so consider that point retracted unless & until I actually bother to look.

The problem here isn't surrogacy existing, it was the child abuse. That kid was born and even by Californias definition alive, and refusing the kid medical care is abuse.
I'm not taking issue with surrogacy I'm taking with issue with the murder, also the government of California deciding the 14th amendment is nullified so long as you outsource procreation.

That's the batshit part about this.

Cali law determines a fucking human baby should be discarded like a defective calf.

Even the slave owners of the antebellum South faced legal repercussions for pulling shit like this.

I getcha. I was more responding to the article (which, given it's very Christian, was trying to draw the parallel that surrogacy is inherently bad).
Seriously when the progressives are crossing lines even their antecedents who treated humans like dogs jailed people over...
Yeah. Basically from reading the law I found, it seems like in California there's a super-not born alive act, basically saying that you can let a kid after birth die. All dressed up under medical privacy.

Eh, I'd say even when he's being non-political, he's still wrong at a concerning rate.

Generally, a good rule of thumb for a lawtuber is their opinion on Rittenhouse and the McMichaels (the guys who shot Ahmaud Arbery). Both are pretty easy by law cases where the facts aren't much in actual dispute: Rittenhouse is legally innocent, the McMichaels are legally guilty. People who fail this test can be safely ignored when it comes to self defense IMO. Note I'm not talking about what ought to be the case, but what the law demands here, as I'm critiquing lawyers.
who are the mcmichaels?

Remember the guy who was jogging through buildings miles away from where he lived where construction equipment kept disappearing? The local police told the community to keep an eye out for a guy matching his description after a gun went missing from a car. former cop sees jogger and pursues with his son and a guy who videos it. the son and jogger end up struggling over a shotgun and jogger ends up shot.

there was an interesting argument there over citizen's arrest. the state had some really old laws on the books at the time that arguably would have applied. that said the laws got taken off the books likely because of this and the whole trial was kind of a shit show.

the most hilarious part is they likely would have had nothing happen if that one guy who also got charged wasn't videoing it.

I see. Yea, I looked at the video and its a shit show.
racially motivated murder my ass.
Ahmaud literally tries to snatch the gun from a dudes hand before getting shot.

See, it was argued that he was doing that as a fight or flight. And he chose to fight because would you try and take the gun of people approaching you and trying to arrest you

Reading this saga pertaining to the Make A Wish Foundation might take more then five minutes.

But holy heck... what a multiyear long journey that was... 😳
