It's pathetic that these people actually think this crap. Kinda scary, too. Worst part for me, though, is I used to really like this person's work as a voice actress. She's had a lot of good roles. It doesn't help; pretty much the entire western anime and video game translation industry is like that now, so even with subtitles (official ones, at least) you get people who measure their self-worth by how many mentions of "incels" or "the patriarchy" they can force into the dialog.

Wasn’t there a game that just recently came out that has two English translations done one that was as close to the original as possible and another that was “localized” and the localizers got angry about it or something may have been already mentioned
