I'm curious how this blatantly racist provision passes Constitutional muster. Incidentally, I'm actually benefiting from this crap, but I still think it's pretty damn racist.
I wouldn’t presume to comment on american affaire like that, but my guess would be that minority farmers don’t nearly need 1 billions dollars, so that extra money gotta go somewhere...
Things are always easier to overlook when there is a big, fat pot for everyone to partake in at the end. ;)

Not sure if it's hate inducing but its still pretty shitty behavior.

Some lady created deepfake videos of other girls competing in a cheerleading squad depicting them as being naked, smoking and drinking and other misbehavior to email to the Coach in order to remove them from the squad her daughter was on.

This is the kind of petty shit you would see in a CW teen drama.

Couldn't that be child porn?

It probably won't, but people have to first bring it to court for the ruling to go through.

Basically some older female generals and officers complained enough
It would undoubtedly be career-ending, but I'd get a few cutting remarks in on equality and what the needs of the force are vs. what they apparently think is fair before the fired me and/or had me put in lock-up. :giggle:

And our military becomes that much weaker...
Well, not so much that as an attempt at making it stronger got thwarted. Unless you're an SF, physical strength probably isn't as much of an issue in the AF, but for the Army I would imagine that it is.

Incidentally, I actually am pro-women in combat and actually think they ought to have to sign up for the draft or face the same consequences as men, but if they want the more tip of the spear jobs I think they ought to be able to pass reasonable physical fitness requirements. Otherwise, they should should stick to roles that don't require the brute strength as much. And I say that for both men and women.

My issue with letting a bunch of women pass easier standards and putting them into the easier positions, is that will create a lot of resentment amongst the troops.

I can see a bunch of guys thinking it's not fair that they only get the tough positions, putting their lives on the line more often, just so some women who couldn't meet requirements get to sit in an office/on a base.

Everyone should meet the same requirements, if you can't, see yourself to the door.

Yes, it's okay for the army to discriminate like this. The idea is to have the best. If women can pass the requirements, throw them in.

Yes, this means less women, because men tend to be physically superior, and not as many women can meet the same standards as men. And that's okay. If I'm in a battlefield, I want to know I can count on the person next to me to be able to carry me if I get shot, for example.

I want an efficient, powerful military. I don't give a fuck about gender representation.

I mean...
Not really. Most men sign up for the harder jobs and expect the harsher treatment.
The Infantry hasn't changed all the physical stuff they do to accommodate women. Neither has SF or Rangers. Tankers also didn't change thjer stuff, as you can't change the weight of the stuff inside the tank...

Fucking oof. Turns out either we printed a source who lied to us(ha!) or we printed the lies ourselves and as the recording is out there, we could be liable for it so lets put out the correction now. After all, sales are down so we gotta bring back the Orange Man Bad and with that guy fucking up consistently and majorly in ways we can't hide, perhaps we shouldn't be blindly supporting that guy's administration any more.

I mean, almost every role in the army or navy has an expectation of heavy physical work. They also totally lowered the standard to let them in, doesn’t matter the program. It’s amazing how many studies for mixed or all female units they have that are total disasters but have a conclusion that the only option is to go forward with the social experiment like all the meat of the report didn’t happen.

“If the science and statistics don’t agree with us, then the science and statistics must change.” - the average liberal probably.

To admit they’re wrong about something is to give in to the “patriarchy” or “racism” or whatever other nearly nonexistent golem they can craft from the ether to push their idiotic policies.
