It shouldn't be surprising, but it is. People turning away from their birth religion to instead worship the literal incarnation of Evil in said religion are insane edgy mofos.
Whether it is people born Christians who turn to worship Satan. Or Buddhists who turn to Kali worship and start going around strangling people to death.
Then you have those "Atheists" who are getting Slaanesh and Chaos Undivided Tattoos.
When the people who oppose you are by their own admission the 'Pro stabbing toddlers' faction, is there any way to reconcile those differences and unite as one people again?
Because I think there's a pretty flexible line, but 'yes, stabbing toddlers is fine' is well past that line in my view.

As always, the wannabe totalitarians keep driving their most important allies to the resistance. The tech sector won battle after battle for the left, but the left betrayed them anyway.
I mean on one hand it's not especially but on the other it's a staple and necessity of geopolitics, and if we're not doing it the nations that are would overtake us in influence and power.
