Eh, well I'm a sadomasochist and I fucking know better. People who are either just sadists or just masochists are just less human than I am, you need to understand the importance of disciplining both yourself and others.
Just punishing others makes you an animal, and just punishing yourself makes you less than an animal. You need to combine both to become a proper human being.
Well that's wrong. Some people just like one side of it. If you do it with the person who just likes the other side of it, congrats, have consensual fun.
Also, sadism nor masochism is an essential part of the human experience, no more than any kink.

Well, no it's you that's wrong. All human beings start out as sadists and some of them stay that way, whereas others degrade into masochism, whereas yet others learn masochism and keep their sadism. It's the latter of the three groups that's the most human because they understand more facets of the human condition than the first two.
Both sadism and masochism are fundamentally just expressions of domination and submission, they're an essential experience of life itself and people who experience neither are the fucking deviants.

European court rejects appeal to stop hospital death of baby girl
A baby has been denied an export from an English hospital that has decided to have her life-support treatment removed.
UK hospital decided to kill 8 month old girl on life support because her disease is deemed too expensive in the long term (allegedly according to hospital. won't surprise me if they have more sinister motives).
Parents found a different hospital that will take her.
Hospital refuses to let the parents take her, they insist they have the right to kill her instead.
A Judge rejected parents request to let them take the girl away from the "hospital" that wants to kill her.
