Five minutes of hate news

Based on the "Blame Canada" thread, I am not particularly convinced of their longevity either. Canada seems a very artificial nation, they are colonial by nature, either to Europe or to the US. Their current administration seems to want to be neither, and that won't work because they can't exist independently in the modern world.

I think the thing that fucks them over as a country was their attempt to hold onto Quebec at any cost.

The compromise they needed to do to make that happen was to have the elite be bi lingual. Which shrinks down the pool of people who can actually run a country when most of the people just speak english to a very small number of people. Pretty much all of their problems stem from that.

If they had simply ripped off the bandaid 30 years ago and let Quebec go. Quebec would have become a regular country and the rest of the country would have rebuilt their national idenity on a more firm idelogical underpinning. As is, I think the country has seriously fucked itself with a compromise that increasingly makes everyone unhappy.

Right now they are becoming a chinese colony.
Massive influx of chinese immigrants, buy up all land. only allow other chinese to live there.
candian govt secretely invited chinese army to "joint training" in canda while trying to hide it from the public

for those who don't know a doula is basically someone who comforts pregnant women. usually shortly before, during, and post pregnancy. I am sad now. I did not want to know this was a thing. and it is now expanding. because women who get abortions need to be comforted as they kill their offspring. I am done man.

If you need emotional support in order to deal with getting an abortion, maybe you should reconsider whether or not you actually want one in the first place?

> There is more demands than ever for abortion emotional support in the wake of roe v wade being abolished

so... abolishing clearly did not ban abortions, if they are having more abortions than ever.

also
DONNELLY: Demand has also surged at the Mountain Area Abortion Doula Collective in western North Carolina. Ash Williams offers a free four-week doula training that talks about gender-inclusive language and the history of medical racism. The course even discusses how to support clients getting abortions who are also struggling with homelessness or domestic violence
Take everything said in the article with a bucket of salt, because it is a bunch of insane idiots talking.

The republicans in this state are such cucks they aren't repeatedly calling lawmakers terrorists for even floating something so hostile to the first amendment...absolutely despicable.

Unfortunately the Twin Cities and Duluth are able to outweigh the rest of the state. Outside the cities? red as it gets. Inside? Blue as Chicago or California.

Just call the damn thing an 'alternate history' and you could be set.
Not that it's probably going to at all play with or present alternate historical events caused by Cleopatra being a melanated sister (whatever those might be? I, admittedly, don't have a ready-made storyline here because it's not like Rome had physiogionomy discrimination like came later except in maybe its most basic, 'those people look different therefore sus' form) but...I dunnow, at least they'd be honest?

Or if it was just a hodegepodged racial casting based on acting talent. Or, hell, even a PBS daytime-special of representation that outright admitted that was what it was doing because 'giving alternative actors exposure'. Black Cleopatra, wheelchair-boound and Asian Caeser, Deaf Mark Antony...Making it a fricken' parade of every social cause you want in the scenes and just be straight-up and admit that's what you did for those drama scenes. I'd still roll my eyes a bit, but at least it'd be honest.

Instead, director/project is just full steam ahead'ing on this black-nat silliness of how this great figure of history was ACKCHUALLY black, in contradiction of every historical fact and image existing of her. It's insulting to history and...weirdly racist? What kind of self-hating bullshit is it where you're so insecure about ancestors of your skin color (which is already an eyebrow-quirking focal-point to have here, anyways), ACTUAL ancestors of such, that instead of telling their stories and such you transpose this stuff onto someone who WASN'T BLACK?
I mean...Unless this is a case of Hollywood Image and Historical focus on Cleopatra being grander and given more opportunity whereas a biopic documentary thing on Shaka Zulu or Mansa Musa or such wouldn't get off the ground...But in that case you shouldn't even take it up? In this case the director herself is falling victim to that shit, whilst condemning it in order to justify misrepresenting history, and...Gah, this whole dramady of errors is just so self-defeating from its own lacking internal logic of being done to its historical accuracy to the ideology behind doing it at all being a shitshow of bullshit. Fractal fucked-uppedness, and I need to not focus on it or I'll...I don't know, laugh and cry at the same time.

I got a doozy of rage inducing material here.

Now if that doesn't infuriate you enough, I investigated to make sure it's real, and sure enough it was.

Not only did the coward delete their own account (after being showered in 'reddit points' and awards), the post has a whopping SEVENTY FIVE PERCENT DELETED COMMENTS, either from predditor staff themselves, or the unpaid jannies.

I don't believe I have ever seen censorship of this scale on reddit, normally it only goes to around 50% removed posts. This is three out of four posts removed and hidden from sight, nothing to see here folks!

Look I got the Vax and I still got Covid so really not impressed with the quality of said vax because it didn't do its one singular job.
Entire family got covid and then got better. with varied degrees of difficulty.

my dad promised me he wont get the vax... then the media swayed him... he got it. and had some issues with micro blood clots in his lungs and elevated lung blood pressure. although thankfully he is recovering.
he took 2 boosters but then stopped. and now regrets it.

The jab was completely ineffective in stopping him from catching it again, several times.

My mom constantly mocked my dad for getting the vax... until she was suddenly convinced and did it behind my back too (for travel purposes). quite annoying. no negatives for her, luckily. she also had the least reason for it, because covid was nothing to her. like a minor cold that went away in 2 days

The jab was completely ineffective in stopping him from catching it again, several times.

I had the coof, it was really bad for me. but since then I never had it again just on natural immunity.

Although I do suspect one of my doctors swapped out another shot i was getting for the covid mRNA bullshit after I refused to take it when she offered.
because of the symptoms I had which started after that shot she gave me.

Anyways. for every person who regrets not getting the not vaxxine jab, there are many many more who regret taking the jab.

The main bullshit factor though is how reddit mods are deleting over 3/4rd of all replies to that bullshit post.

What a lot of people don't realize is how often this stuff happens. Maybe not 75% on every post, but I can go to most posts and get a good 20-33% of the posts deleted. That's...A shocking number.
If 1/5-1/3 of people suddenly weren't allowed to speak, we'd say something very bad was happening.
