Its funny how people who self identify as moderate right are actually left of center.

I guess it could be people who self identify as center are people who were on the left that are moving to the right, and vice versa for the RINOs that identify as moderate right.

this is the political triangle.

There are 3 mutually exclusive core principles

Liberty, franternity/stability, equality, in order to get more of one you must sacerfice some of the other two there is no perfect system just a series of trade offs.

The modern day left is all in on the Equality side of the triangle, the modern day right before the political realinment was an alliance and compromise between the liberty and Franternity fractions to reign in the socialists.

This failed, under trump further compromises were made and he created a populist party, populism is basically a grand alliance created when some one in the triangle has fucked up bad real bad.

When you had absolutist asshats you had a populist revolt around them, when corpos went mad with power you had a populist back lash against that it is essentally a grand alliance against who ever is currently fucking up, and normally falls apart when the issue presented is solved.

Be prepared to have really strange friends and allies you never saw coming, if things go into a full civil war be prepared to fight along side relgious fundamentalists of various stripes, gaston flag wearers, truckers, and the occasional furry. Populist movements get weird because it is a grand alliance against one particular group of people who are fucking up real bad and wont take a hint.

No, they are not. This false dichotomy is an incredibly destructive deception.

I can value freedom, my fellow man, and equality all very highly. There is no inherent contradiction in it, unless you only interpret 'equality' as 'equality of outcome.'

I value people getting an outcome that they reasonably deserve. I value equality before the eyes of the law. I value sane equality of opportunity.

These things are not inherently contradictory, and people trying to tell you that they are, are trying to manipulate or pigeonhole you.

Small wonder that white liberals are moving en masse out of California into red states, bringing Californian policies and values with them.

Belive it or not most people actually learn from their mistakes and don't vote for the same shit that ruined their old home. I mean I get it cali liberals are loud obnoxious assholes but most normal people after fleeing their old state because of fuckery decide not to have that fuckery in their new state.

I honestly still wonder if it isn't an attempt to undermine red states by turning them more purple, which is why so many of them are moving to states like Texas.

That's almost assuredly on someone's mind on the left but if the red states can get actual voter reform done and secure their elections from blue city fraud I really doubt it will work.

At this point I'm convinced there has been a ton of fraud in the various elections but 2020 was when they said "fuck it. We HAVE to win" and they abandoned any subtlety whatsoever and committed massive fraud to beat trump.

Honestly I think its all backfiring on them hard, 2020 was a poisoned chalice election and we are watching their legitimacy and power be slowly disolved before our eyes in real time.

It's a damn shame none of these train-operating corpos have the balls to put mercs in the wagons to defend their goods.
That would be appropriately Cyberpunk.

To be frank, that could be easily solved by only allowing citizens who have lived for 15 years in the state to vote.

Apparently, New Jersey made full-term abortions legal (up to the point of birth) and enshrined them into their state constitution. What's funny is that this is in none of the news article head lines. They use terms like "protect abortion rights" and stuff like that, even Fox.

This isn't as unusual as you might think, Oregon's had the same constitutional protections fo some time and forbids any restrictions on abortion whatsoever. Two days before birth? Not a problem. Mother is a minor? The parents need not give consent, be informed, or otherwise be involved at all. Counseling to make sure the mother knows what she's doing? Ha ha, no, that's unconstitutional. New Jersey's just following other states' examples.
