Likely as it stands now. We need a sufficiently strong trend of good actors placed in positions of leverage w/in each organization. People that are willing to fight against political demands and focus on their Constitutional roles.

Agreed! Thiugh, J Edgar Hoover set a 90 year precedent on how to deal with such people.

What we need is a President and a few fanatics in congress willing to start shutting down Federal agencies then replacing them from the ground up who have the local juice to exert immense pressure on any Judge willing to stand up to them.

Oh, I know I'm wishing upon a star, but we have to have very clear goals. And in each of those goals we have to figure out what's needed to get there. Then we figure out all the implied actions that need to take place for our dreams to come true.
