I'm now curious just how far one would need to go for an organized assault on hypocrisy to invoke all possible sources of cognitive dissonance to honestly qualify as "terrorism" from the push for existential dread.

Certainly not the first to wonder it, but there are times when I speculate the corporate-news anchors going "Terrorism, ree!" is actually incitement for on-edge Leftists to commit terrorist acts themselves?
(In fact, I probably don't even need to wonder by now, since that's obviously what they're doing. And boy, they damn well know it.)
Sadly, you hear pretty much nothing from them condemning it, with each and every story in which all signs point to Left-wing terrorism going down the memory-hole faster than the news first broke. Odd (or rather, not so odd) how that all works, really.

Admittedly, many of them are probably too stupid to realize it, but the smarter ones have let the mask slip more than enough times to make it clear how much they hate large swaths of the country. Won't be long before those same large swaths start returning the hatred tenfold, I fear.

You know its really funny the different directions those two nations have gone since WWII. Germany has endlessly shamed itelf for its actions during that war, yet has failed to understand why those actions are wrong and change the cultural underpinnings which allowed it to happen. Japan has largely hidden from the shame of its actions during that war, yet its culture has change greatly away from those aspects which allowed those actions to happen.

Can see how Japan (despite not officially acknowledging its wartime conduct) has changed culturally to phase out its militaristic elements, but not sure I follow with Germany? Unless, of course, you’re referring to how top-down and regimented the German culture still is, which is precisely what an aspiring dictator who needs the masses’ ready, unquestioning obedience will capitalize on to carry out their vision in the first place.

While this looks cynical is actually makes the right more forgiving in general because they think everyones some flavor of fuck up themselves included. so mistakes and fuck ups are expected.
Meanwhile the left has the unconstrained vision of humanity which looks optamistic on the surface but means they honestly think humanity is perfectable which leads into very dark places.
So the right generally thinks the left is being stupid, and the left thinks the right is evil because they stand in the way of their glorious utopia (See the bloodfueled mayhem of the french revolution and every communist state to see how that turned out)
But the thing is the more the left goes off its nut the more the right steps away from the whole these are stupid naive fools to these guys are crazy and then sees them as evil in turn.
The left pretty much controls the buracracy and all social insitutions right now but that is starting the change in mass and their freaking out and over reacting about it which just makes the relative loss of power worse and pisses off everyone else even more.

Sadly, you're probably not wrong.
As it stands, I suspect I have less to fear from the average conservative now than the media would scaremonger a dumber, more naive version of me into believing (despite my disagreements with them). It's what they'll become once they finally snap that really terrifies me, even if the Regressive Left and Globalist oligarchs who patronize them are more dangerous right now.
