Dems have a decently solid lead in terms of where they need to be in order to win (Warnock more than Ossoff), though it's not certain yet.

At this point I almost feel like it’ll be Perdue and Warnock. Which is weird because I always thought Warnock was the weakest of the four but hey.
The polling on this basically indicates Trump’s blindsiding McConnell on the stimulus checks was the last straw. Either it was deliberately done to fuck the GOP over as a final fuck you, or else he is just too dumb to realize that if his position is being supported by people he claims to be completely opposed to (Pelosi, Schumer, and Bernie), maybe he should shut up and think it over for a minute.
Honestly? Warnock is the surprising one. He definitely seemed to be the worst of all four, and Defienently the worst of the two dems

Because he’s extremely left leaning (think Jeremiah Wright) who, while he is a preacher, is really out of step with most Georgians (and most blacks for that matter) on the actual issues. The only reason he hasn’t been hit harder is that 1) the press is more focused on Trump’s latest Tantrum of the Day and 2) they want him to appear more reasonable so people don’t know they’ve been had.

$2000 checks was a great PR move that basically everyone was in favor of. The GOP senate could and should have capitalized on by delivering as soon as possible. Narrative should have been that Pelosi stopped checks from coming earlier to deny Trump a boost for the election.
Instead McConnell turned that great PR move into an own goal that cost him the senate. That's 100% his and the GOP establishment's fault.
