Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

So President Trump just fired Esper the Defence Secretary who publicly voiced opposition to the theoretical possibility of Trump invoking the insurrection act to use the military to quash unrest?

I think he is preparing the field for the expected riots if Bidens media coronation is interrupted or reversed.
The military generally did not like him as well but still decently well

Hopefully if the legal challenges go to the court, the SC will rule for Trump, thus turning the tide of the election. Trump of course would need to be prepared for this, having coordinated with all relevant parties ahead of time.

In any event, I don’t see such a ruling occurring until December. Or perhaps even January.

surprising literally no one who knows the man. Just in case no matter which way any of this goes anyone gets depressed. Advantage of being a libertarian huh, I just get to enjoy the media and government beclowning themselves.

That's not surprising in the least. Federal abuse has long been pointed at the people of Appalachia.

Michigan AG Dana Nessel Sends Cease and Desist Order to Journalist Demanding He Erase His #DetroitLeaks Video Showing Voter Fraud Training — OR FACE CRIMINAL PROSECUTION

What do we have Here?

I mean, that video as complete shit, so I have to agree there.

That said...trolling Michigan is pretty funny.

As for me, I just love the chaos.

i would argue federal abuse is and always has been aimed at everyone, but other than Appalachia every other region seems to mistakenly think they can ride the tiger.

Esper was also claimed to be communicating with a Biden transition team member without Trump's knowledge.

Finally got off his Ass to do something...

Spartan you're one hell of a soldier and a great guy.

But I swear, you'd blunder into every trap and pitfall in five miles.

Barr is head of the DOJ. He can't just come out and immediately back Trump to the hilt on anything he says. Similar reason to Mitch not coming out sooner. There at least, be it real or not, appear as though he has some separation from Trump. Barr and Mitch waiting until they have their ducks in a row before acting is not only in the interest of the party, but it carries more gravitas. I know that doesn't sound right, but it is. Otherwise, they would look like Trump's lackeys.

Not to mention their silence creates a tension that actually strengthens their counter-narrative to the media's own narrative.

Anyone available should ask why not just switch parties? The governor did it. Would create a greater sense of loyalty if he actually turned his colors and committed. Otherwise its just for show.

Hard to say, some people don’t want to change, or alternatively he doesn’t agree with either party on everything, and doesn’t want to change to a different one which he also has disagreements with.

Sen Romney: It's important for democracy that we don’t allege fraud

Looks like GOP has some members seeming to try and put up a fight and others like Romney who will just bow like good little sheep.

Romney revealed that he was controlled opposition a long ass time ago. Ignore him. He's irrelevant as far as both sides are concerned beyond his station as a senator.

Kind of hopes it speeds up a bit to be honest.
Justice is a slow and fine process. Let them take the time available to make this one count.

Appalachia has never gotten lucky with the corruption and so doesn't want to play the game at all. Those poor bastards have managed to be on the losing side of every regime in US history. Even when they backed the Union in the Civil War they still got screwed alongside the defeated states.

On one hand, he could have legitimate ideological preferences that keep him in the Democratic camp. On the other hand, being the only untouchable Blue Dog in a frequently tied Senate gives him more power than most governors have.

The Left hates Manchin since he's held their agenda hostage more than once. Something he can't really do if he's a Republican.

I should have clarified. I did mean this yes but also the situation regarding Hunter Biden and the Labtop.
