Don't see it working because Mexico is way too far from Egypt.

True but they both have access to the Ocean and pretty developed infrastructure.

The Hungary-Turkey though is peculiar because Hungary, though far closer, is landlocked so direct transportation would have to be via expensive air bridge or through the land of intermediate countries.

amusingly if they got over the initial cultural issues mexico makes what egypt wants (cars and computers) and egypt has the refineries mexico doesn't have. they would actually help each other out economically.

Yes looking over that data I was pleasantly surprised to see. While this is obviously farcical the two countries would compliment each other.

Also amusing and for better or worse population wise it's basically half Mexican and half Egyptian with the former far more economically robust and the latter far more militarily capable. So things are kind of working out I feel for Mexgypt, at least thematically.

I'll probably do Hungry Hungary-Turkiye later. I don't think it'd be as interesting demographically since Hungary is so small but when I tabulate the military stuff fun things could reveal themselves.

At a glance Turkeys military is a bit better then Egypts in many qualities and while Mexico has a large military, it's quite lacking in heavy equipment and not much is spent on such things. Hungry Hungary-Turkiye despite being smaller (but more robust economically) might have an even more formidable military.

Some surprising things... beyond Egypt having 35,000+ Armored Vehicles on a budget half that of Mexico's, is that Egypt had a 150,000 strong (including reserves) dedicated Air Defense Forces which is a seemingly separate part of their armed forces.

Also... when looking at paramilitaries, I honestly thought Mexico had more then 120,000. But that includes the Federal Police units and the like, which is surprising. And of course, Egypt has 400,000 paramilitaries... including 300,000 "Central Security Forces" whose budget is also a significant percentage of the Egyptian GDP. Their budget is actually $2.5 billion, literally half that of the Egyptian Armed Forces, which is pretty interesting.

Mexico, understandably, has a large military but its not heavy in jets and tanks and warships which makes sense. They do have some interesting things going on. I'm pretty sure their F-5's don't fly anymore, but I threw them up there anyways. Also they do have a domestic armored fighting vehicle industry with many of their vehicles, the "DN" platform ones apparently based on the M5 Stuart. They have... SIX 75mm Self Propelled Howitzers they built on that platform reportedly... and yes I had to add that to the 1700 or so SPG's that Mexgypt has.

Mexico has corvettes as well, but almost all of their ships are basically gun based. No anti-ship missiles to be found beyond the two ex-Israeli Sa'ar Missile Boats, even on their frigates. So basically all but their frigates were tossed into the patrol boat category.

One benefit of their inevitable war with Hungry Hungary-Turkiye is that while Mexico is under-mechanized, Egypt has Corps worth of armored vehicles big and small in storage. Hundreds of tanks. Artillery pieces. SPG's. Air Defense Systems. Even airplanes. Obviously training will be required but the Egyptians have a pool of Latino Crusaders to help maximize their population advantages.

Also despite being on other sides of the world, millions of citizens from both halves of the Republic speak English. I was actually kinda surprised (and not sure if true) but Egypt supposedly has more English speakers. I think the Mexican numbers are undercounted significantly though.

Egypt have pyramids.Mexico also have Pyramids.
Tourists there get either revenge of Montezuma,or revenge of pharaohs.

So,it is logical, that they are the same country ! ;)

Yet Mexico has that Sexenio on their Presidents limited to one six-year term. Egypt doesn't have term limits.

Well in that case Mexico might have a moderating influence on their compatriots. Lifelong rule has been an issue with Egypt for a while now it seems. And despite as corrupt as Mexico has been, it has managed to wheeze out a few decades of stable elections in spite of this new era of Mexican Drug War instability.

The new dual Republic of Mexgypt has to mutually support each in dealing with each others internal crisis lest Hungry Hungary-Turkiye gain the advantage. Though Turkey has its own issues going on as well...

Huh hilariously the taliban was actually pretty effective at treating the various addicts they had I.E. they strapped them to beds took care of them and got rid of all drugs. if Mexgypt goes a similar route the jihad against the cartels is gonna be wild. not sure which death cultist I want to see win there. do they still have access to the US southern border?

Yes they do have access to the border and Biden has blessed this unholy Union with his Lich powers or whatever.

Likewise also President Trump has blessed the Union of Turkey and Hungary.

If we combine Australia and mongolia do we get emu riding archers? Emus alone beat Australia's army in a war twice if I recall. we might see a new khan rise up.
