Shorter post then I originally intended today. I was busy adding skills to people and added a spoiler tab for the assets for this particular mission to better keep track of y'all choices.
The basic way the skills work, and I'll try and edit it back in there... is that you don't really know how good people are at things, but you know they are people of "certain" skills and certain aptitudes. So in regards to named NPC's, you know they're good at all of the things italicized at least proficiently (level 2 or 3) but if there's anything emboldened, your reasonably sure they're actually really good at it. (3 or likely higher).
If you are at '0' or no rating you are basically untrained/neophyte at it, but can still attempt the skill and it could still work. Just not as effective as if you had some skill in the thing. Like you can still drive, or shoot a pistol or attempt to intimidate a person, it's just your at normal baseline capability at best.

I'm a sucker for Jimmy. The FBI agents have Surveillance bolded too, and two pairs of eyes are probably better than one. Assuming this doesn't 'use up' our ability to make use of them or something. To be honest, that choice is mostly based on my desire to get Administration up a bit higher. If not for that then I'd probably go along with Conklin.

It only uses them for that evening/night. Either they or a replacement team next shift can be utilized when that surveillance operation is finished.
So yeah not expended, merely deployed.
We'll see how the time goes... as you (hopefully) maybe aware, apparently some sort of Holiday is happening now where we celebrate purchasing Native American land by shopping lots and devouring de-evolved dinosaurs so posts maybe intermittent through next week.
I'm sure I'll make it up to you with a Thanksgiving themed mission sometime in mid-March to Late-August.

Not sure about the gold difference, but I figure it's best to not show him up like that. I'm personally a pedant and would probably pick 1, but I'm aware enough to know nobody likes a pedant.
2's the worst. They can probably assume that we're lab testing them on their own. 4 is a bit weak. I was tossing between 1 and 3, decided to go with 1 because 3 seemed kind of sensationalist to kick off with. A good case could be made that it's just the most interesting/unusual one, I just don't want anyone jumping off about the punctures.
I figure the people shadowing will have a better idea of him than the people stalling him, though I guess Rose and Lucy would have personal experience with how he acts and speaks, and if he seemed nervous or calm or what.
I'm figuring that the whole apartment's a show and he only pretends to live there, because extraterrestrial shenanigans. and because of those, he doesn't quite understand the little mistakes. Nothing's touched, nothing's used. No prescriptions, just pills. All the meat's fresh, like it'd been just bought to keep up the illusion once he realised people would search his house, presumably because he saw the people shadowing him. I agree with Conklin that his interests seem off. That browsing history smacks untrue. I mean, I don't know what internet browsing in the late 90s was like, and this is pretty crude, but no porn? Dude's using his fucking birthday as his password, but knows how to hide his porn browsing from... who? He lives alone. Or he's not interested, but that strikes me as more unlikely than it being a sham.

Just an update. Barring illness or other emergencies of course (like this cold I'm finally getting and have evaded all Holiday season somehow until now) we should be expecting updates twice a week (OR MORE) starting this new year like before with a Monday post as the main target... and another post some other random day of the week. I know I just said that... two posts ago... but just a confirmation.
