"Seizing the means of production" communism being good on paper is a crock. As its central tenet requires steling others stuff sorry theft is never good.

I am not talking about the general means here only the ends, a utopian society where everyone is inherently equal and nobody starves or has to worry about people lording over them isnt a bad thing, but it's an impossibility because of human nature and the reality of economics.
In other words its ends is good in theory not in practice, don't act like I am defending Marxism here because I am not.

I to agree that heaven is heaven but that's irrelevant to communism. I could easily make up a corrupt unethical philosophy that ends in paradise. It wouldn't end any better at all anyway I apologize if I accused you of being commie scum. That wasn't my intention I just have a knee jerk reaction because a system based on theft isnt good on paper its evil. Yet so many just reapet that without any knowledge of what they're saying. I used to be guilty of it to and then I read Marx
I know, my reason for bringing it up basically boils down too. "I can see why some would be deluded by its promises"

Sure for the same reason people become religious. Talking to legit communists communists I've noticed is very similar to talking with hardline Christians. This made me realize that both are religious fanatics just one religion (communism) is far more dangerous. They try to pretend that it's a "philosophy" but the truth is it's a secular faith....Also apparently the sites spellcheck changes "legit communism" to "lefitst" which is just funny as all hell.

Communism is dangerous. A lot of people died from it.
Communist sympathizing terrorist filth raped my country and I fervently believe that Jorge Rafeal Videla did nothing wrong. Bignone, Massera and Galtieri did though.
Simply put. The ideology is a social disease that destroys ecologies, genocides cultures and butchers the citizenry and make insects out of humanity.
It should be opposed ardently and with the zeal of religious fanatics. To the point where I honestly think the Supreme Court should rule that promoting Marxist thought be considered an act of domestic terror and it being the one ideology exempt from 1A protection.
For one simple reason. The communist is like an HIV cell, he nestles into your infrastructure, he comes to your children with flowery language and he takes advantage of the generosity and liberty of your nation to propagate and multiply.
He then denigrates and debases and cries foul as you fight back. Exploiting the very laws that exist to ensure you remain a free society and then proceeds to use them as a shield and sword to advance their agenda through your judicial and political systems.
Then when they mature from cultural Marxists into full blown communists. As HIV to Aids, they burst the "cells" they infest and open your society to all manner of chaos that brings them down to ensure their rise.
Or in their destruction of your national immune system they necessitate a chemo blast and a total bone marrow transplant in the form of right wing militarism to cure.
Which can be as lethal as the disease.
There is not remedy for communism except to refuse them entry and to bar the gates and resist and fight.

It mutates too and affects countries that aren't even that prosperous compared to the USA to begin with
And so long as it's not nearby or doesn't stay for too long, they'll forget it all

Banning speech won't actually accomplish suppressing the ideology though. I mean, Modern Germany has a worse Nazi problem in a single political party (NPD) than the US does Nazi + Klukkers, despite trying to ban all mention of them. And the second we open up one hole in the 1st amendment, everything will get pressed to fit that hole, and the hole will be widened.
But yeah, fuck commies.

What is needed more than banning communism is making the public more aware of how evil it is.
Holocaust month type deal? With survivors of communism talking about how their families were killed and the like?

A bit of an elaboration
Try teaching those so-called “science lovers” or the “party of science and compassion” how people and organizations like schools “game the system” especially when granted “free funding” through which they can give to corrupt school officials and thus raise “free” tuition to fund said corrupt officials
Alongside how the "full education" is bullshit and wastes both the time and the money of the students who're forced to sit in through shit they don't have time to concentrate on when they really just want to be able to make robots. They probably already know how to write essays from elementary and high school.

Problem is, they managed to make "Communism" into something "young, hip, cool and against authority" or against "The Man"
People have to first realise that "The Man" now is using them and the "underdog" and stuff like Identy-Politics against the human race itself
You can't fight against wide scale Chuunibyou Syndrome when too many "adults" helped engender it in both their kids and other adults
Oh, I know. It's not widely recognized outside of schools either (they're still working on getting enough people (think hundreds of thousands) on board to make it a thing). But change starts with ourselves, and raising awareness of this can help make this a holiday that will be recognized.
