Cyberattack on US Oil Pipeline Infrastructure

So with all the domestic and international spying and all the wonderful budgets the intel and LEOs get, regardless of how much they violate the Constitution, and you all have had to resort to posting bounties to handle this.

And you wonder why people question the priorities and leadership of so much of the intel/LEO community?

This is also why I have worries over automated vehicles; if a hacker can get away with attacking a critical pipeline and no one can figure out who did it, they can do a hell of a lot more.
Americans are really bad at spy craft the 5 eyes agreement is basically a deal where the other 4 hand over their homework in exchange for money and protection.

We're essentially the himbos of nations.

It isn't, but you can think that way

It's just that it's way easier to spy on American citizens because of "muh domestic terrorism." ;)
Would we better off if all agencies were forced to work outside the USA and needed explicit written permission from senate, congress, and/or president? No, I don't care if this is effectivly a banishment. The agencies has abused the trust of their superior and thus do not deserve it.

The FBI will not exist as an institute because it was never intended to be a permanent thing. The agents and employees can work in whatever polices will take them.

Human trafficking was already cut into oblivion, so the agencies can focus their efforts on the white supremacists (anyone who isn't 100% supportive of the regime).
Except not really.
It is to fear monger us to think they are putting more effort then they really are into it

I think they can track crypto better than they will admit, but they know the hackers are beyond thier reach, likely protected by a foreign power and do not want to admit it.

Thus the bounty, so they can get white hats to publicly out what they already know, without leaking sources or methods.
True... But at 10 million this is likely less White Hat's turn them in and more Mercenaries shoot them in the head...
