Break Up of the United Kingdom

I found an interesting video about the break up of the UK post-Brexit:

If Scotland and Northern Ireland vote to leave, I cannot think of any rational stopping them given Brexit. How much of a possibility is this? What will happen to England and Wales should that happen?

Northern Ireland leaving actually neatly solves the Irish problem forever.

Scotland however has already had a referendum so you simply tell them that's it and don't allow the vote, sorry mate you got one chance blah blah blah.

of the two I think the chances of NI leaving are smaller because they know for a fact that the Irish republic would love nothing more then to 'unify' the island again, and if their not a part of the UK and you live in a more dangerous world well conquest is likely.

Difference between leaving the UK and the EU is simple. The UK is a legitimate thing with actual (read weapons) authority. The EU is not it's really that simple no army no authority.

“Soft Power” can only do so much and requires recognition

Say, what’s Ireland, Scotland & Wales’ position on mass muslim immigration, because that maybe a factor in what gets them to stay or leave

We can only hope, but probably not. I mean, what are they gonna do if the UK says no, fight back?

Modern Western Europeans excel at being oppressed and bullied. It is their natural and most comfortable state.

Scotland had a referendum, and decided to stay. There's been nothing to indicate public opinion has substantially shifted in favor of leaving the UK, and given nobody is going to manage another referendum on the subject before the EU finishes burning itself down, or at least is very heartily into the process, the 'Brexit justification' a bunch of leftists try to give, isn't going to amount to much.

"Modern" these people lived under monarchs for centuries. All the liberty minded Euros moved over here best I can figure.

1. NI won't leave: the underlying issues that caused decades of bloodshed are still there, and this'd cause a massive resurgence... only this time, there'll be more attacks on RoI soil, too.
2. A certain Scottish politician is massively overrated, as is the support she boasts from "fellow Scots".
Most Scottish people don't want to leave the UK because they recognize how fucking stupid an idea it is.
Scotland has no real infrastructure to generate independent revenue to support an entire country. All the oil-fields, for example? They belong to Westminster.
Ironically, most of the jobs up there come from Royal Navy and military-related professions -- that includes the support jobs, up to and including catering and ship-building.
All the neat little perks the Scots get, like free university and the NHS subsidies? They'd all vanish.
There would be no 'retroactively' remaining part of or joining the EU. Hell, Scotland on its own doesn't meet any of the criteria to even apply for membership!

If anything, a more realistic scenario would be Cornwall being recognized as its own country and part of the UK than Scotland leaving. :ROFLMAO:
