Armed Self Defense Brigades Patrolling the Streets of Hartford, Connecticut

Not sure if they are some sort of White Nationalists or Christian Fascists we've been hearing about. They are armed and a Minister is one of the organizers so it seems probable that this Hartford Armed Self Defense Brigade must fall into those categories based on pattern recognition.

Minister Dexter Burke says there will be more patrols at night, not just this daytime one which involved trash cleanup. They have stated they are not vigilantes but organized, disciplined and legally concealed and carry with everyone being trained in their gun rights and at the range.

"Anti-Violence" groups as well as the recently elected Mayor of Hartford, Arunan Arulampalam, have condemned these people for 'taking the law into their own hands.' His recommendation?

"It's not the right thing for Hartford. We are a community thats faced such trauma that is trying to work together to heal and we need all of our leaders, everyone who really cares about this city to come together and to try heal as a community, not to inflict more violence, not to bring more weapons into this community."

The Mayor also says: "Our community has seen so much pain and trauma, and what we need is for those who love this city to do the hard work of healing that pain."

POWERFUL WORDS!

This has been in planning for some months, as there was even a news story about it last year.

I think that they’re smarter than allowing nobodies they don’t know to join.
Dude you should read some of the files on how the FBR infiltrated the most organized and security minded groups. What people on this board seems to forget is this part of human nature.

A group is only as strong as it's dumbest member. And no matter how hard you try. You will always have a few dummies in your group that can be subverted. History has shown this.

He isn't wrong. People always blab.

But that is why you don't call it a milita. You form a group that trains people to be competent with thier weapons, and can have friends that are also capable.
Ot isn't a milita, just self defense and shooting sports training.

It’s called ‘don’t recruit anyone you haven’t known for years and have lived in the area for several years’. Or at very least, don’t give people who don’t fit both those qualifiers any power.

It won't help that tactic has failed in the past too. Like I said look at the list of tactics they successfully used.
