I am about to start episode 5.
So far, as a fan, it is seem very respectful to its audience. Most of it. Maybe you can say 2 actors are diversity hires but even then its very tame.
And the protagonists, antagonists and other characters don't feel excessively hyperbolic like some I felt while playing NV and FO3 or FO4.
To me, until now, they feel much more human.
It feels like whoever made this show saw "Rings of Power" and collectively in unison said "YEAH, LET'S NOT DO THAT!"
