Say, what would have happened if the American Revolution never occurred or there came concessions to avoid over-taxing the British Colonies?
2007: The start of the modern anti-vaccination movement begins here, when celebrity Jenny McCarthy claims her son became autistic because of his vaccinations. Let us imagine a slightly different timeline up to this point. You see, zombism and vampirism, among other mythical humanoid monsters, were actually caused by disease. The vaccinations for these were invented in the 1800s and subsequently the plagues of these monsters were regulated to fantasy. Ever since then though, any nation that could secretly vaccinated their children against becoming zombies, vampires or other horrible creatures.
But with the rise of the modern anti-vaxxer movement, these diseases that turn humans into monsters have returned.
The anti-vaccination movement - Measles & Rubella Initiative
The anti-vaccination movement has a long history, beginning in France in 1763 and continuing through to today. As with all hot-button issues, it’s important to have accurate information and listen to both sides of the story. Unfortunately not, AH established itself as the place for alternate history long ago. Fortunately pre 1900 and post 1900 forums are open to non registered people, but there hasn't been a really interesting timline for some time now.
1919: The Boston Police Department went on strike this year, a watershed moment for the influence of public unions. As a result, criminals were basically free to run amok. What if vigilantes emerged? Masked vigilantes who soon gain alter egos, who fight against disorder.
I think this would lead to a nation that is just too big to be united succesfully. The Civil War would be very different, that's for sure.
Do you mean annexed now or earlier? Because there are plausibleways the US could've had more of NA. All of it I don't really think could be achieved let alone SA.@AndrewJTalon
I know this thread’s more or less dead, but reading the work of @Navarro made me think one question
How possible or hard would it have been if the United States of America was “more accurate” by including all or most of both North and South America
Like Canada and Mexico as “states” and weird situations like South American countries being torn between having populations wanting to illegally migrate or fight being conquered and remade into parts of the USA or similar
I’m sorta guessing a problem with elections and the economy would occur
That said, an entire nation composed of two continents with way more than 50 states....how long would that last?

Well first up you could get Quebec to join the ARW. That's possible but highly unlikely. If it happened though Canada is basically gurateed to become America. Minus maybe the Atlantic island states.Earlier, like before the 20th century.
Somehow, I don’t think accusations of racism would work if the say the State of Old Mexico didn’t like the guys trying to get to them
More poor, more Communism.
