The President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, was inaugurated in Parliament's plenary session on Friday, 1 March 2024.

President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö and president-elect Alexander Stubb arrived at the Parliament Building together. President Niinistö inspected the Guard of Honour before they attended Parliament's plenary session.

Incumbent President Sauli Niinistö addressed Parliament at the plenary session, and Jussi Halla-aho, Speaker of Parliament, responded.

President-elect Alexander Stubb then made the solemn affirmation laid down in section 56 of the Constitution of Finland. Following this, President Stubb addressed Parliament and Speaker of Parliament Halla-aho conveyed Parliament's greetings to the new President of the Republic of Finland.

After the plenary session, President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb inspected the Guard of Honour in front of the Parliament Building.

All Finnish presidents have been inaugurated in the Parliament Building since its completion in 1931.

Probably because I really don't care that much for that part of the world and because:
Norway has lots of resources while
Sweden has some manufacturing and military tech.
Both of those iirc have bigger economics than Finland.
