What they don't tell you about in basic...
Honestly, "Do not piss off any Mustelid, ever" is the kind of thing that should be standard for all basic training and any wilderness hiking or survival lesson. It should be common sense for all humankind, it's just that too many city folks have never seen a Mustelid outside of a TV screen and have no idea what idiot balls of rage they are. Crazy suckers will try to kill a moose if it gets on their bad side. Minks routinely attack and kill Canada Geese, those hate-birds that drive humans away, even though the Canada Geese outweigh them by a factor of five and come in flocks.

I have little doubt that if the lantern rings showed up on Earth, the green would go to Lapwing (memes about fearless Honeybadger, a Mustelid, aside) but the red would definitely go to a Mustelid.

On a weird side note. At my Job Canada Geese give me a wide berth. While they are bold around other people at the site. They fear me. Then again I am the largest and tallest person at the site. I must look like a freaking T Rex to them or something lol.

got a Saint Bernard myself. lovable slobber maker. closer in size to the 3rd though. he generally stays around 125 or so pounds. gave my mom a fright showed up on our back porch early in the morning before the sun rose on November 1st. I overruled my sister wanting to call him Cujo and went with Charlie.

Reminds me of my first dog Pup. He was my best friend and partner in crime when I was a Toddler.
