What if before the events of the first Harry Potter Movie. Every non magic using Human on Earth gained Marvel (616) level mutant powers. And a few become as smart as Reid Richards, Tony Stark and Dr Doom. How does this change to the Muggle population affect Harry Potter Earth as a whole? What will the Wizards do? Will the knew Mutant Humanity discover the existence of the Wizards?

Special Note: While there are many Mutants who will have similar powers. There will be only one Magneto, One Professor X, One Dr Doom, One Tony Stark and one Proteus. As in ones who are in those roles.

616 Marvel "survived" only because it had active godly intervention keeping it stable. Without that factor in play, the sudden appearance of mutant powers for everyone is a death sentence.

Especially if you are handing out powers randomly and not carefully screening who gets what powers.

To be fair the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and the Xmen are not what every mutant on the planet is like. Most mutants don't have over the top powers. Some don't even have powers and are just physically mutated. And the ones that have powers may or may not be able to control said powers. So out of 7 Billion people you might have maybe 2 billion that have powers that would be considered noticable with and even lesser number that can be a threat to all humanity. And it won't be long before a new order on the planet is established to regulate the new normal.

Xavier? Continental scale mind manipulation without Cerebro.

Cyclops? He can level cities simply by opening his eyes.

You are giving powers to everybody. Every criminal in prison. Every racist. Every gang member. Every dictator. Every drug user. Every drunk. Everybody.

And those powers are randomly distributed along with running the gamut from world ending to barely noticeable.

The good outcome is total societal collapse inside a week. The likely option is that basically everyone is dead inside a few days.

And you are just assuming that your Scarlet Witch decides to go No More Mutants instead of "Everyone who doesn't love me dies." or some equal insanity.

That also presupposes that there actually is a Scarlet Witch. Her mutant power was probability manipulation. What made her so over the top powerful is that she was also a witch who used Chaos magic. Otherwise known as magic that is incredibly powerful but also insane to use because it is chaos. Her mutant power lets her manipulate probability so that her chaos magic produces the outcome that she wants. Making her basically a full blown reality warper.

Without the magic thought she is just "lucky" as she twists probability to favor her/disfavor her enemies.

She is not the only one. I was not gonna mention Franklin Richards but you know. There is one of him too. There are others who can stabilize the planet. As to godly intervention. If you look at the other Marvel Alternate universes that idea is kind of suspect. Marvel Zombies and Oldman Logan are a thing you know.

If there is an Apocalypse. And that is a Big if. You would still have the Magneto, The Proteus, The Scarlet Witch, The Professor X and more importantly the Franklin Richard epoxy. Aka god tier Mutants. And the Last one can literally remake the past world.

And Magz has no sold far worse magic than AKs while holding up the moon no less.

Edit- Xavier can mentally bang his girlfriend from Galaxies away without Cerebro. Some dude just waking up with those powers mind accidentally melt everyone's brains everywhere.
