Primes Laser can vaporize up to 5 meters of sand and gravel with in twenty seconds which is roughly a one billion+ joule feat.
If you divided his concentrated beam attack per second that should make his regular eye beams AT LEAST 50 mega joules a pop.
To put that into perspective that's like 3 to 4 times more powerful than the main cannon of an Abrams and an Abrams direct hit would def one shot even Terminators.

Yeah, I am pretty sure Krack and Melta weapons are more powerful than what LP's armor was built to withstand.Uhhhh that wouldn't work, Prime no sells missile barrages in scripted sequences as he clears the way for the Brotherhood it takes a barrage of a nuclear payload satellite to take him down same payload that can wipe out the massive Crawler fortress or kill all the Brotherhood members in the Citadel despite their power armor.
Heck the "Standard" Missile launcher of the Wastes is at-least 72mm caliber (The Enclave used much longer range and probably stronger missiles) which should put it roughly on par with the M72 Law which can penetrate up to 300mm RHA
That might be a small amount but then you have to remember he absolutely no sells missile round after missile round in addition to extended barrages of multi megajoule energy weapons meaning his armor is going to be at least with an order of a magnitude greater than 300 (3,000 mm RHA+).
Which frankly means he's no selling anything that is NOT the Thunderhawk Gunship
Mean while he's two shotting armored Verti-Birds (The actual good ones) which should scale to or above the most protective armor the Enclave have which scales two or even generations above T-60 armor that can withstand up to around half a minute of the sub-megajoule to megajoule level energy weapon barrages from +10 enemies at once followed by a energy blast that vaporizes said combatants and still come out unharmed.
Prime is shooting concentrated gigajoule weaponry here. This is what happens to the Astartes.
Even Astartes speed isn't going to be fast enough to outrun light-speed freedom lasers projected from someone with a 4 story vantage point and advanced sensors.
Um, Space marines have been known to get blown out of ships, drift in space and reenter a planet's atmosphere, then get up and walk it off.
A terminator armor is literally an upgraded powered armor built to withstand the insides of a fusion reactor.
Naval Cannons should fire Space Marines at enemy shipping instead of using Boarding Torpedoes. Remove the middle man.

Yeah, that isn't exactly consistent performance, given the thousands of times I and various NPCs around have got hit with plasma fire or energy blasts, invluding from turrets and nothing happened.
You could say the same by booting up Warhammer 40K Space Marine, or the Dawn of War games, or even the tabletop games and using that scaling for better or worse. Or worse some of those DoW cinematics if we're just going to lowball everything.
Ehhhhhh they 'can' do that in one shot, but that's with a funny perk.
The whole 'turns people into soup' effect seems to be unintentional with plasma rifles, occurring by freak chance as the plasma hits in just the right way to break down the molecular bonds of the target, turning them into soup.
Most of the time it just punches big holes in people.

Yeah, IIRC it required high luck stats for a crit and high energy weapons mastery.

Depends on the game, FO3/NV needs crits to do the goop effect.
FO1-2 has different kill animations depending on your violence setting, the bloody mess trait, and how much damage you do...I think.
So you can melt people without crits, heck you can melt people without energy skill for that matter because skill was more of an accuracy thing than a damage thing.

Yeah Power Armor had a power supply that supposedly could last a century in Fallout 1/2 and then in Fallout 3 and New Vegas the Power Armor seemed to be nerfed pretty bad, though it was a completely different type of game as well so it was kinda due to the scaling.
Then in Fallout 4 and later you went back to how the Power Armor really should've been. Something you climb into like a giant powered armored suit, instead of the basic metal suit of the previous Bethesda approved games. But instead of the unlimited power plant, now there are power cores that you have to constantly put into the things.

Which just speaks wonders for Pre-War industry considering its rarity is on par with missiles or 50.cal ammunition
So has the Master Chief but I won't ague he is invincible bar author's writing. Suffice to say I don't think the Marines could take down the brotherhood they are simply too outnumbered and for all their strength they are still mortal and vulnerable to nukes, bullets and energy weapons.
