Well that's an easy prediction, like I've said. The Virginia governor's race is offset from the nationwide presidential election by just a year, so the opposite party usually rides the wave of discontent with the president to win in VA. That's basically what happened last year.

Big question is whether the VA Dems will regain control of the VA House of Delegates including the minority-majority districts they lost in last year's GOP wave elections ?

I'll be interested to see if they can keep control of the VA State Senate in 2023.

Eh... my first thought was that he didn't see the kids*, because he was clearly high-fiving people much taller than them, but the head's angled enough and the way the hand is waving it does look like he just passed them by for no reason and that's not cool.

*Visibility in those suits is pretty poor, the occupant's actually looking out through a little slit inside the mouth for a stupidly narrow frame of vision. It's a problem for a lot of mascot suits that due to the design, the person inside isn't really looking out the mascot's eyes so there can be a severe disconnect between where it appears to be looking and what the occupant can actually see.
