As I said, whether or not you agreed with them in the past, it's sad and pathetic what they've become now.

The "woke" interests just happen to pay them better, IMO, so hence "mercenaries with briefcases."

Yeah, it's similar to how BLM talks about how they're allegedly so oppressed in the US right now while at the same time getting extremely huge amounts of money from Woke corporations.

Not wanting to derail, but yes. That might be changing soon though, if not already. BLM was forced to halt fundraising after several state AG's began to investigate them for improper use of finances (like those expensive homes the poor downtrodden founders were purchasing, cough). And of course Biden deciding to throw them along with AOC and the Squad under the bus after announcing in the SOTU speech that funding rather than defunding the police (one of BLM's primary aims) should be the way forward.

BLM is going to suffer the same fate as the #MeToo movement. "You have outlived your usefulness..."

Good. :) I really hope that you're right in regards to this.

BLM is responsible for the deaths of several times more black people than it saved, after all:

Cameron Todd Willingham is one notorious case of a very likely innocent man getting wrongly convincted and then executed, with that jackass Rick Perry subsequently trying to cover the trail of his incompetence:

OMG! Give it a fucking rest & move on!

Assuming VA State Attorney General Jason Miyares (R) is aggressively suing BLM & those outside agitators ?

So I haven't posted since before the election happened, when it looked like the election was a foregone conclusion in McAuliffe's favor. It was quite something to see education, critical race theory and trans incident coverups in schools take precedent in the election. Youngkin must have been doing something right to both hold on to Trumpist Republicans while also appealing to Virginia Republicans who don't care for Trump (myself included). And of course, McAuliffe's moment in the debate where he straight up said that parents shouldn't have a say in what their kids get taught should go down in history as one of the great campaign blunders.

So far, I've been pretty happy with the policies Youngkin has been pushing. And just as a person I appreciate that Youngkin is unashamedly Christian, in the traditional, Biblical sense, like this tweet shows. Gives me a little hope that Virginia won't be so quick to slide into a progressive leftist dystopia.

Big question is whether US Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA 07th) loses reelection in November ?
A.) YES

B.) NO

C.) TBD

Hard to say. Spanberger has a reputation of being a moderate Democrat. If there is a "red wave" coming, either she's well suited to weather the storm if she can disassociate herself from extreme elements of her party, or she's particularly vulnerable to rising anti-Democrat sentiment in her district if she can't.

I should note that the VA Dems still control the VA State Senate & will be plotting revenge whenever they win back the Governorship in 2025 or 2029.

Sears is likely going to be favored as the GOP standard bearer in 2025 for the VA Executive Mansion.

Miyares will seek reelection as VA State Attorney General.

On the VA Dems: Spanberger will be hard pressed to seek the Governorship in 2025.
