My NBA team is the San Antonio Spurs: 5 NBA championships (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007 & 2014).

Mine is the Indiana Pacers. Always the bridesmade, never the bride.

Heard a radio talk show discussing how Steph Curry redefined how guards play basketball by shooting a shitload of threes, drawing fouls, and being good at free throws.

Reggie Miller did it first and his high arcing almost unblockable 3pt shot was because he had to shoot over his big sis Cheryl (a Hall of Fame center btw) when he was a kid. 40% from beyond 23'9", 90% on free-throws, and much more dangerous when he got loose* even though he couldn't easily dunk a basketball towards the end of his career.

* The Pacers had plays which called for Reggie dragging the entire defense through or around multiple picks at a time when setting a pick meant standing entirely still for a about second and defenders were allowed to basically mug someone without getting called for a foul.

Warriors resting up and awaiting Heat/Celtics.

Regardless of who comes out of the Eastern Conference, Warriors are still likely winning their 7th NBA championship.

You can brag when you hit double digits lol.
During the 90s the only team which actually had a chance of defeating the Jordan-led Bulls was the Miller-led Pacers.

In 1998 the Pacers were up by 3 with nine minutes to go during game 7 in Chicago.

The refs basically handed that one to Chicago and Scotty Pippen admitted, during the post-game press conference, that he didn't believe the better team won.

The Chicago Bulls went on to win the NBA title that year.

Yeah, they can also start bragging when they hit double digits.

Celtics are gonna win it all!

Sometimes the best don't win but instead come close. I respect that a whole hell of a lot more than the actual winner.
Yeah, they weren't the best a double digit number of times, so I don't even notice them.

The powers that be would prefer Golden State Warriors vs Miami Heat depending on ratings.
The powers that be can suck it! CELTICS WIN!!!!!!!!! We're in the finals!!!!

Again I say:
Celtics are gonna win it all!

If you were an alien bookie from another planet who knew absolutely nothing about basketball with clients who also know nothing about basketball the odds would have been 4:1 in favor of Miami just based on where the game was to be played.

EDIT: A good bookie does not care who wins. They want the money on both sides of the bet to be about equal so that they
get paid regardless of the outcome.

Yeah, because they would know nothing about basketball. I don't see why that's relevant. Celtics were properly favored, the only reason the Heat won any games was Jimmy Butler Heroics.

Let's not forget about the Celtics almost lost last night blowing a 13-point lead. That is NOT gonna cut it when you're facing the Warriors.
