That used to be true when they were solely based out of Brazil. Not knocking Brazil here mind you, just that Taurus's quality control could be iffy at times. Ever since they went international and began manufacturing more of their firearms out of Bainbridge, Georgia, their quality has gotten a...

Saw that, meant to say weapons company, ugh. Blame that on early morning and not enough coffee. I wouldn't want to go into combat with a muzzle loader, but it's still a lethal weapon to your average home invader.

Probably due to more modern materials and manufacturing methods. The lighter weight can be both a good and bad thing? Lighter weight makes it easier to transport especially if you're planning to employ this as a heavy weapon in a squad, though that might also make recoil a bit more difficult as...

Boeing company had a neat idea about that M230 30mm autocannon that's slung under the Apache attack helicopter. (Please note, not to be confused with the Bushmaster 30mm autocannon, as both fire different rounds, 30x113 for the M230 vs. 30x173 for the Bushmaster MK44, respectively.) "What...

PKM's are good guns though, very reliable, and just as importantly, very light for a squad machine gun. If what I read from one former VDV veteran of Afghanistan is true, they preferred carrying at least a few if not several PKM's per squad if they were available.

I trust you have evidence or links to said evidence to back this claim, other than anecdotal? You guys can laugh and mock on an internet forum, but last I checked Zach's the only one here I know of who's part of the intel community, or has openly admitted to anyway. Again, cite your evidence.

It's a bullpup design, so YMMV for some. The operation is definitely a bit different than an AR. The controls are ambidextrous with the magazine release right above the trigger, and the bolt release is a sort of lever right behind the magazine well. Again, different operation, but man is the...
