I know this blew past most of us, but Max Rebo was not shown in Sanctuary when the Pyke's blew it up. So he may survive both Jabba's barge being destroyed, and avoid being blown up by the Pyke's. Dude might want to find another planet to play gigs on, so he stops pushing his luck.

I think it was more than that, even; it sounded like he might have had something close to a chem toilet/urine-water recycler set-up installed in the cockpit and run partly into the X-Wing's small cargo hold.

I think it was something more than that, based on the context; the pilot, Runt, had to be on alert for days, hidden on an asteroid, ready to do a staffing run on short notice. I think it was something meant to handle #1 and #2 for multiple days on end.

As I said, it's be tight, but it could probably be used as a bounty cell. Though I expect it's really meant for Grogu. The Wraith Squadron books meanted a 'pouch and bladder rig' for extended duration missions. My guess is for normal missions, they didn't expect the missions to last long...

The mechanic widened the slot when she refitted the fighter, I expect. Certainly looks wider than 20 inches. I'd be tight, but could still use it as a bounty cell.

Maybe he'll become one of Fett's group, since the Armorer effectively exiled him until/unless he goes to the 'Living Mines of Mandalore'. The pod could also act as a prison cell for prisoner transport, I would guess. Not as convenient as the carbon freeze booth, but he could still do bounty...

Excellent point, and Mando's did have a navy in the Empire days in some materials. Specifically those Kadelbe class capital ships with the mass drivers and those could go toe to toe with an ISD and win much of the time. However, that was before we got the Satine's pacifist stuff in Clone Wars...

Also, Mando's had used nukes for orbital strikes on planets they wanted to ruin, but not conquer, doing the Mandalorian and Sith Wars. Nuking them in return, instead of just going for a Base Delta Zero, is a bit of peotic retribution, which seems right up Gideon's alley.

I'd say Sabine did pretty damn well with it, and even had actual training from both Jedi and Mando's. Boba doesn't seem interested in trying to reclaim Mandalore either, Sabine definitely would be, assuming she's not absorbed in the search for Ezra.

I don't see Fett as the new Mandalore; I think that honor is likely to go through either Din, or possibly Sabine (she's confirmed for the Ahsoka show).

That's true, and a proper warship would be useful for Fett when it comes to off-world issues, and enforcing local power. He's not adverse to more firepower either, and we saw his views on air support/orbital power in how he dealt with that speeder bike gang. Also having a place to his ship...
