They should be. Yet the trend in here lately has been to keep harping on the drugs and his criminal history, while ignoring the knee to the neck for 8+ minutes. George Floyd was a criminal, this is a fact. He was not a saint, was a hardcore drug user, and should have been behind bars. But...

Yet none of that excuses what those cops did. That cop could have shifted his leg to George's shoulder or put it there in the first place, but he didn't. None of what happened to George is 'fake news', just because he was resisting earlier.

That's why they've kept the manslaughter back-up charge. This won't be a case of bad cops getting off because the DA aimed too high.
