Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
Like every war that happened since WW1 many are nosy....so if India and China do go to war, how likely is the USA/the west to get involved?

Hard to say, it depends on how it happens, and if it goes nuclear we get affected anyway....so if India and China do go to war, how likely is the USA/the west to get involved?
Ah our strategy in the two previous world wars good call.I say sell weapons to the Indians and let them duke it out. If Trump gets re-elected, maybe come in when China has exhausted itself trying to dominate the juggernaut to the south.
Oh come the fuck on.
I always wanted to live through history! C'mon baby, Crisis of the 21st Century here we come! We're only half way through the year and I'm over here like...
Meh, humans will always be humans which means stupidity is inevitable.@Floridaman I definitely do wish we lived in more enlightened times.
Not until someone presses a rifle in my hands telling me to shoot at where the finger is pointing at. I'll know it's time for a war. We're only half way through the year and I'm over here like...

I, for one, prefer the grand historical and situational irony of the US and UK--and whoever else wants to come along like maybe the Phillipines, Japan, Vietnam, etc.--declaring aI say sell weapons to the Indians and let them duke it out. If a war starts, ASEAN would likely join as a group. As someone once said "the only thing all ASEAN countries have in common is fear of China". ASEAN has military powers that combined have a pretty serious military (Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam [hegemon of Cambodia and Laos]). That's leaving aside the other ASEAN countries and the other East Asian countries that are chomping at the bit to take it out on China (Taiwan, Korea and Japan).whoever else wants to come along like maybe the Phillipines, Japan, Vietnam, etc.
Even if the US didn't get involved, the only way China would stand a chance is to launch nukes towards basically everyone around them, which would also doom them as well.
I had a similar person in my life when I was young, he used to say that in X number of years we'd all be speaking Mandarin. Really believed that China's path to being the prime super-power was merely an inevitability, and a welcome one. What about stuff involving the economy? Subtle "threats" involving the economy
Just so you know, I've been getting feels of a sort from my dad that he doesn't seem to believe the propaganda regarding China's greatness as much anymore and he had some business with China and even took me seriously on that line from Anchorman 2 about China becoming a first world country and explained to me how they'd do it....yeah I remember that moment even if it was years ago....in hindsight what he said didn't mention things like China's pollution, geography, resources and mostly male population and one child policy
because of Chinese tourists
And yet, no one has any complaints about Taiwanese tourists. A culture separated by merely 70 of China's 5000 year culture. Curious.I heard from someone else, this is also "Saving Face" because if you don't explode, "People will walk all over you" there
