That is not even bringing in the problems of individual state traffic laws. Lot Lizards. Actually crazy people at Truck Stops. And everyone's favorite. Driving up North during the Winter.Absolutely. It takes someone of sustained capability, responsibility, and ability to act independently to make it as a trucker long-term. I've driven big trucks a few times, and once drove the largest sub-CDL truck you can halfway across the nation. Truckers have to deal with harder and longer hauls than that as their regular job, and a lot of them are away from home for days on end as part of it.
It's not a job you can stay on if you can't man up.
