You know what? I hope I'm wrong. I really do. I rarely am when it comes to this type of topic, though. I feel like some kind of fucking retarded black pilled oracle at this point.
Here's how this has gone for like 4 years now. Mostly election result related, but other stuff too, like covid:
Members: ________ happened! This could finally be the thing! They're going to have to do something now!
Me: no they won't. Nothing will happen. Republicans will screech on youtube and twitter for a week, and everyone will move on.
Cherico: I'm actually a defeatist but I like to dress it up as optimism. Something vague will happen some time in the next 20-80 years. Modernity. Romans.
Someone else: you're just black pilled dude. We like to have hope.
Reality: Republicans screech for a week, nothing happens, the world moves on.
Every. Fucking. Time.
I HOPE I am wrong. I am eager and looking forward to the days that I am wrong about this! But so far the only times I have been wrong, are when I let myself fall into that very trap, and got a little hopeful some change might come. And then it doesn't.
As of right now? No change is coming. No one is coming to save you. Republicans are part of the uniparty, and they are all talk. I'm not black pilled because I see a way out, but I don't see enough politicians with the balls to do anything about it, so for now, we're stuck here.
Our only hope is another Trump presidency, if they let him win.
