Former caterer gets delusional, declares war on Russia

The War has caused a lot of trouble for Russia's "ruling elite". They've lost property, money, influence, and the ability to just fly around and do what they want, basically.
Trust me, they're pissed at him because he basically pissed in their jacuzzis. That's not "propaganda".

Oh boo hoo hoo.
The super-rich aren't able to play around and have fun because there's a freaking war happening?

Pretty much, yeah.

These Russian millionaires and billionaires, the ones who backed Putin for much of his reign, are pissed at him because his "special operation" fucked everything up for them.
Precisely.

Modern Russia is essentially a kleptocracy run by gangsters who have little interest in Putin's Tsar LARP. Now that it's actively effecting them, Putin can live out his dream...by discovering Tsars rarely died of natural causes...

Yep.

Support for him has quickly eroded, the people who covered for him in the past are now pissed at him so everyone can see the "cracks", and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he were killed or had an "accident" some time in the future.

you would be surprised how many wars have been prevented because of that.

Including, perhaps, some that shouldn't have been.
I think you might also find that a lot of wars happened for which there was no reason, other than that the government of country A was doing something that the rich boys of country B felt was setting a limit on the extent to which they could party away at everyone else's expense.

The banana wars are a good example of what you're talking about.

Looks like the Kremlin met with Prigozhin and top Wagner leadership only a few days after the mutiny. Both sides took time to air their point of view of events before working on how to move forward from it all.

Washington Post said:
In a three-hour meeting, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, Putin "gave his assessment" of the private military company's fighting record in Ukraine as well as its actions on the day of the mutiny.

"The president listened to the commanders' explanations and offered them options for further employment options and combat application," Peskov told reporters in a conference call Monday.

"The commanders presented their version of what had happened," he said. "They emphasized that they were staunch supporters and soldiers of the leader and supreme commander in chief and said they were ready to continue fighting for the motherland."

This goes along with earlier reports by the BBC that Wagner was still recruiting in Russia despite rumors that they would soon no longer exist.

General Surovikin's status remains a mystery as of yet.

Washington Post said:
Gen. Sergei Surovikin, under scrutiny for his close relations with Prigozhin, was not present at Gerasimov's meeting. Russian independent media have speculated that he has been detained. Alexei Venediktov, the longtime editor in chief of Echo of Moscow radio, which was forced to close in Russia, said Monday that Surovikin did not call or send a message to his wife on her birthday, July 3, nor did he contact his eldest daughter on Monday, her birthday.

So,it was all Putin master plan to check who is faitful?
I hope so,KGB genius should made such thing!

And hide super army of robots and apemans in hidden cities, too !
And i only partially joking here - KGB SHOULD BE DANGEROUS.

Russian MoD released video of them removing heavy equipment from Wagner PMC control. Quite the impressive arsenal. Unsure how wide scale this disarmament of heavy equipment will be but it might impair their future ability to shoot down Russian aircraft with impunity within Russia itself.

Meanwhile this story came out over a day ago but I sat on it in case of new developments but it seems to just be a theory IMHO.

A retired US General and current ABC News Military Analyst, Robert Abrams, stated that he believes Prigozhin is dead or jailed and the publicized meeting with Putin was faked.

It's Russia: It wouldn't surprise me if he's rotting in a ditch somewhere and a dog and pony show was put on for the world's/Russian public's eyes.

Given how utterly confident Prigozhin appeared to be in all this, they would have had to do something quite clever to lull him into enough complacency for a kill operation.

I'm dubious, however, as, "We killed Prigozhin but are keeping it secret." is pretty much just as bad for Putin's image as Prigozhin actually getting awway with it.

Nice video summarizing the events of the Wagner Mutiny from a Youtuber I recently discovered called War Archive. His videos even come with animated maps!

Significant Wagner forces are heading back to Russia. Apparently Lukashenko wanted Wagner Mercs in the country until he realized he had to pay for their services. Sad.

Hasn't dampered Russian saber rattling of using Wagner to invade the Suwalki Gap of course.

Guess FSB has finally decided to send its regards.
And also a warning to all who have high hopes regarding any sort of compromise deals with Putin...

The FSB was like...

Hmmm there were earlier social media posts today that Prigozhin was in Africa.
