Yes, I am aware that not all countries are the same.

They do still take 50% of all assets on the divorce. Take the kids. and get child support.

number 1 cause of divorce in Russia is poverty.
number 2 cause (40% of claims) is allegedly alcoholism of spouse
... and russians actually have more divorces than weddings.

I honestly think that maybe the Muslims have it right if women are such disloyal whores better to have them be property. Obviously with safeguards so that women aren’t chained to abuseive or addicts, also they should be allowed to leave if there is cheating. But other than those three reasons and maybe a few others divorced should not be allowed. Also why would poverty cause divorce? I mean now instead of two incomes you have one it would make you poorer.

yeah our culture also seems to say it's ok to turn a blind eye to "Forceful seduction" so long as it's a big handsome domineering man "50 shades of Grey anyone" the thing is in this little place we call reality there are no "perfect men" just like a woman can't juggle both her career and her family equally without something being sacrificed from one or the other, a man can't either. You can't serve two masters.

If a man is dedicating his life to the dedication of gathering wealth, his true wife is almost inevitably money, at best a woman is a side chick to him, at worst she's a toy.

With wisdom comes the lowering of expectations in some respects (such as wealth, beauty and prestige) and raising expectations in others (dedication and loyalty.). Sadly wisdom doesn't come all at once, and some don't receive it at all

if Humanity as a whole view itself as little more than a clever ape and chooses to act accordingly, why should I waste effort and my emotional wellbeing casting pearls before swine? I'm on this ride for the few and the proud (proud as in having shame and standards for themselves, not proud as in arrogant) not the feral animalistic masses.

I wouldn’t exactly say it’s bigoted just that god put different rules for men and women and put them in different places.

yeah God didn't put on us this earth to be swine, king. There is a being human tempted by human tendencies, and then there is being too useless to live. If the human species can't be bothered to remotely try to self-discipline itself that they have to be treated as toys locked away in a toybox and only taken out when it suits their masters, then maybe it does deserve to burn whether in nuclear flame or hellfire.

I'm not demanding perfection, just that we not be Sodom and Gamora or pre-repentance Nineveh.

Honestly I think we are headed for a major shift with in our lifetimes.

Right now feminists are making civilzation choose between making women happy and civilizational survival and that... thats never a good position to be in.

hence why I want me and my family to be far away from the city and "society" as a whole. If I do manage to get rich, just give me a farm side manor. if I can't have that, I'll settle for a sturdy house and some land

In this case no I don't think it was manipulation more like the grass always looks greener on the other side.

Now a lot of women are finding out that work honestly kind of sucks. You do it because you have to obviously but it shouldn't be the sum total of your existance.

Yeah, I had a boss that pulled that on a Jewish employee. He quit and she gave a big rant at the next team meeting about how "He chose not to be a team player."

That was her favorite phrase, nothing bad ever happened because she caused it, she never fired or otherwise acted against an employee, everything was because "X chose not to do his part."

Yikes!

The worst I've seen was a young engineer not understanding that two of our draftsmen could not stay late or work overtime. One left around 2:15pm to pick her kids up from school. The other was taking a full-load of college night classes - that we were paying for, BTW - and left at around 4:45pm.
