SCOTUS Getting Shade Over Roe v Wade

Realistically we have already entered demographic decline as a species and will suffer all the conquences of this.

We don't have enough young people to keep everything going, as time goes this adds a very painful logic to banning abortion. Its not getting talked about now but as time goes on? As countries face the conquences of demographic decline and potentially the cessation of their existance?

In general feminsts are going to have a real bad time with in a couple decades.

Yes, that is one of the actually reasonable counter-arguments.
For added salt you can suggest that the nation follow Comrade Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin's enlightened birth control policy after 1945, or Nicolae Cheushesku's in the socialist people's republic of Romania.
That is, ban abortion and force people to have more kids.

I am pretty sure Xi will do something like that, too.

Does it actually mean that though? There's a lot of wiggle room between "all circumstances" and "no circumstances" and any poll that doesn't make some kind of attempt to suss that out is only good for determining the percentage of absolutists on both sides. And to my understanding when a poll specifically asks about Roe it usually has a lot more than 20% support.

It very much does mean that.

Mississippi has a 54% support for it's 15 week ban as an example.

It's essentially the gun control argument. When asked "do you support gun control" you get a lot of "yes" votes but when you get into specifics it's for things that already exist, and even of those a lot of them get nos.

Yeah, that still isn't the 70-80% that are pissed off about the economy and Brandon's other fuckups.
And I am pretty sure that at least some of the 54% mentioned will be swayed by emotional appeals and guilt tripping and shaming from the feminazis and the media.

I say again, this is an obvious fucking distraction, you are being played, you are swallowing the bait hook, line and sinker!!!

What's even the point of getting a late-term abortion? I mean, birth control aside, you'd think that if the mother really didn't want to give birth to that child, they'd abort it at the earliest opportunity.

Realisitcally speaking.

That would probally be a case where there is some kind of problem and both the mother and childs lives would be at stake if the child was born. Which would in most states be covered by a medical exemption.

Or, you know, Csection it out, put it in an incubator, then leave it for adoption.

Well yes, of course; but I wasn't talking about those looking to get one for medical reasons. I was talking about people who just didn't want the kid; why wait until the last minute? Do they simply derive a twisted sense of pleasure from it? Because for a number of braggarts on social media, that seems to be the reason why they do it.

What makes it a distraction? What makes something that the right has been trying to get for 50 god damn years a distraction?

you have to remember every one has a list of things they want and they go up and down the pirority list.

For a lot of people infact most people its low on the list of things they care about. Once the bandaid is ripped off and people realize this just became a states rights issue fewer people will care about abortion simply because so few people will ever need it in their entire lives and because we have a whole lot of options that didn't exist when Roe v wade became a thing.

A better point might be that nuclear apocalypse over punishing Russia for "hacking our democracy" would kill a lot more people than abortions and sophisticated medical technology like abortion would be beyond the capabilities of Immortan Joe's fan club, so both sides should consider keeping the status quo from getting the war they want to be a bigger issue.

We can in fact look at and do more than one thing at once. The democrats rioting over this just alienates them from the people who don't care.

Yeah so 54%, not 80%, in Mississippi which is definitely going to skew more in the direction of favoring restrictions on abortion. I don't see how this supports the claim that was made.

So it looks like some one leaked the homes of the conservative supreme court justices.

I cant tell you just how illegal that shit is, as in this can get you serious fucking time illegal. I will be watching this but this seems like the kind of overstreach that can seriously fuck the democrats.

NR actually has some reporting on the "someone" in question. The left is, uh, not exactly sending their best for this one.

yeah that shit is very illegal, like incredibly fucking illegal.

The supreme court is a seperate branch of government, they have real actual power to fuck people over expecially people who go after them. America's left really needs to stop this shit, our south american posters can tell you exactly how these stupid games play out.

You know having the left freak out over this to such a level is nice but it would be even better if we had people that would actually make some of the crazier one suffer real consequences I’ve seen tweets basically call for people to kill the justices or revolution etc. leaking their addresses is them just taking the next step they take with anyone they disagree with it’s almost an instinct to them now. Like the lefts has several patterns they follow like clockwork. But also like clockwork very rarely do they suffer consequences it happens sometimes but not enough
