I'd be perfectly okay with that if not for the fact that inter agency bitchfits are why 9-11 happened.
The FBI, local sheriffs, the NSA and the CIA were all too busy chasing clout to do their damned jobs and investigate reports.
Our choices is that they fight each other or they all come together to fuck the american people, any chance of them doing their jobs and actually helping the people of the united states died a long time ago.
Agreed! Thiugh, J Edgar Hoover set a 90 year precedent on how to deal with such people.
What we need is a President and a few fanatics in congress willing to start shutting down Federal agencies then replacing them from the ground up who have the local juice to exert immense pressure on any Judge willing to stand up to them.

Oh, I know I'm wishing upon a star, but we have to have very clear goals. And in each of those goals we have to figure out what's needed to get there. Then we figure out all the implied actions that need to take place for our dreams to come true.
