The military for instance would rather give people shots even if they are not FDA approved (Anthrax vax) if it allows them not to be at risk, and getting sick can take you down for a decent amount of time, when getting a broken leg it isn't as long for when you are out.
There are a multitude of reasons

Anthrax vaccine was putting anthrax into your body. Small pox vax literally gives you small pox.
 
The military will be giving out Medical.discharges and the VA will be paying if there are any major issues from the vaccine later in a soldiers life.
Because if it causes issues, we rake in that federal.money

In theory yes. My question is what that would accomplish beyond a minor monetary payout and a repealing of this specific law? It'd be preferable if we saw the entire coof camaraderie go to prison for their acts, but how?
