Five minutes of hate news

Like animals?

Red Wings, Titans, Pistons, Red Sox, White Sox, Brewers, Packers, Maple Leafs, Spartans.

That's just off the top of my head. Don't act like all sports teams are named after animals, and that's supposed to be a nasty association for Indians to be compared to.

Some of the above are professions, some are mythological deific entities, some are objects, one's the national flag of Canada...

Your complaint is preposterous.
But is art made of these things being murdered and raped because they are opposing sports teams?

Not when you've seen the things I've seen at these games. This aspect of it just keeps conveniently getting ignored.

And gives them another one in the form of their beloved team's mascot being changed to appease offended Native Americans. So really, I don't see how the situation has changed at all for you.
They wouldn't be doing it to a representation of a Native then, would they?

What 'things'?

Because you're not really being very clear here.
Go back and read through the thread.

My reasoning is that I don't want them to be doing shit like this:

The guy more than likely doesnt hate Native Americans or hold any kind of plans to do violence to them. Context is important its a crazy fan having fun is it in bad taste maybe but the guy isnt bad for doing it. I could just as easily see them doing it to viking or spartan head are the Scandinavians and Greeks supposed to get up in arms about that if or when it happens?

Plus that a fan of an opposing team why punish the fans of the orginal mascot for what someone else did.

Thoughtlessness doesn't really make it any better, you know. And so what if you think other people are cool with it? Why are you using such an obvious logical fallacy as the basis for your argument? Is it because you can't actually address any of the things I've brought up?

What exactly do you think is wrong Im having a hard time even grasping it. Because literally everyone else in the conversation seems to think its free speech issue why reading back on your previous post you think its something else.

It looks like to me you somehow think its slander and that because the team name is Indians all native american tribes would have to give permission for it to be okay. Then you started talking about how bad the fans of other teams are.

Did I get all of your issues right am I correct in what your arguments are?
