Q&R general planning, ideas, interest checks and discussion

I'd like to check for interest for a 3.5 DnD game inspired by the game Dwarf Fortress, where the players take control of a small group of settlers and try to thrive while presented with the natural dangers and challenges detailed in the game manuals.

Would anyone around be interested in playing, or be willing to learn, 3.5 dnd?

A Warcraft/WHF quest crossover idea.

A Azeroth mage in Warhammer Fantasy.

The questers get to control a displaced Alliance(Maybe throw Blood Elf in as well.) mage who's found employ for a local lord. A slight jokey idea would be their lord would be lite version of those CK2 quest protags, held back by the fact their advisers and subordinate aren't crazy competent like in those quests.

Opening post would be selecting race, Lord(Which also decides where in the Old world they begin.) and professions(Enchanting/Smiting/etc).

Certain race choices would have noticeable effects. A dwarf mage would be massively more eyebrow raising or a blood-elf needing to figure out how to create a source of magic to properly sustain themselves for example.

So Questors have to juggle their day job of dealing with a overly demanding boss with very high expectations, typical WHF issues, Chaos and bad food.

I don't feel I'd be able to run it, but might as well drop the idea somewhere.

Checking interest if anybody wants to participate in a quest set in the Pactverse: the web serial Pact by Wildbow. If you haven't read it, then here's a synopsis.

Blake Thorburn was driven away from home and family by a vicious fight over inheritance, returning only for a deathbed visit with the grandmother who set it in motion. Blake soon finds himself next in line to inherit the property, a trove of dark supernatural knowledge, and the many enemies his grandmother left behind her in the small town of Jacob’s Bell.

The quest though will be set somewhere different with its own cast and events.

Gauging interest in a Battletech-themed empire builder style game set in the extreme deep periphery the opposite side of the Inner Sphere from the Clans. Since my plans for a grand forum game based on Starfire have hit a serious snag (TLDR, got far too ambitious in scope and scale and the folks who were going to help me manage the whole thing have become tied up in RL for an indeterminate amount of time due to the shitshow known as 2020) I figured it may be interesting to try my hand at something smaller... and the entire rules fit on one page of google sheets!

Deep Periphery Quest

If you are interested or have any questions, please PM me.

I'm not really familiar with the quest format used here and on sister sites but I'd give a Battletech empire builder a try.

Definitely interested!
Though it would be nice to have a bit more of a hand in our Character/Planet creation. :p

Planetary background is set, but character background (other than being the youngest child of your parents) is going to be decided by the players in the intro ^_^

I am writing a Super robot Wars RP the OOC is on discord were we do plotting am I allowed to link it? The RP itsel if of another site id have gone here if I knew of this as a SB competitor the interphase is better

So I have a RP idea. . . not sure if I'm going to post it here or on SV.
Basically, characters inherit the abilities and powers of people throughout media, maybe their powers would be reincarnated from these same people in the media.

Eventually the PCs would discover more and more past lives, being from different franchises.

Making a Dieselpunk/Fantasy alt-world nation RP.

Looking for people interested in helping write history and lore for major nations. There's a fair amount of detail already committed into it so far, but due to the scale of the project, I feel compelled to ask for some help.

If at all interested feel free to send me a DM and I'll fill you in on what I have so far!

Is anyone interested in taking a group of Level 0 Swords & Sorcery characters into a meatgrinder dungeon and seeing who comes out with wealth, fame, and a Level 1 character?

I'm trying to learn the rules for Dungeon Crawl Classics, and I find the slower pace of pbp generally helps with that.

Where could I find the rules to check it out?
