As a guy who works in RAND, it is estimated through wargames, and research with multiple think tanks, America won't be able to Challenge China in the Yellow Sea, East China Sea and South China Sea by 2023, meaning the eastern Pacific in general. Overall, the US defense budget needs a yearly increase of $28 billion in all sectors to start matching the Chinese, however the Pentagon reported in October that they could only increase the number to $8 billion. So, really, America has 2 years, after that the eastern pacific is Chinese.
ah, but the things that dollars buy and maintain do shoot don't they? A powerful military is not feasible without the cash to back it up and maintain it.Dollars don't shoot.
Military power isn't directly measurable in money. It depends very much on how it's spent.

Which the pentagon is known for.....not. The pentagon is known for being one of the worst managers of the budgets given to them. 2019 saw $40 billion or so unused or poorly invested. 2020 data is probably going to be released by July this year.Well, it does make a huge difference whether your military spending is optimized towards getting the most bang for the buck... or towards getting the most profit for the suppliers.
Can you prove the Chinese are better by a wide enough margin to actually matter?Which the pentagon is known for.....not. As hominem much? Shifting goalposts? Can you prove the Chinese are better by a wide enough margin to actually matter?

Truly I am the very depiction of god's perfection. 😃😉
If you find people asking you to substantiate a claim as insulting and dishonest, your not going to last very long on the internet.
Conversations drift and people ask questions. Maybe this isn't up to the strict and superior standards of the BLAND Corporation but alas, we lowly peasants on the anonymous internet often fall short of God's perfection.
I just reading The currency war vol5 by Song Hongbing - he is writing mainly about Middle East, but he belive that USA would fall about 2040 thanks to spending too much of its budget on paying debts.
And since he is important member of chineese financial elites,China leaders probably belive that USA after 2040 would be no issue no matter what democrats would do - so,they would wait till then.
China is strange place when politicians really thing about next generations,so they could do that.
Song isn’t actually considered credible in the West. His stuff is a combination of conspiracy theories and wishful thinking on the part of the Chinese.
West doesn't "consider credible" someone who predicts it will collapse, imagine my shock.
A random Chinese nobody publishing a book that *incidentally* mentions a belief that the US will economically collapse for absurd reasons does not constitute credible evidence.

The fact that he claims the U.S. Federal Reserve doesn't really exist and is only a cover for a secret clique of private banks controlled by the Rothschilds. . . is clearly delusional.

He is not random nobody in China, and he wrote volumes 1 and 2 of his book about past of western economy which lead to situation when Fed must lead to USA downfall.
Not for absurd reason, but every state in which 50% of budget must be payed for paing percents of national debt must fall.
Not national debt itself - it become larger every year.
And Fed is actually not USA state agency, but group of private banks, some of them belongs to Rotschilds.Others to Morgans, but it is less then 20 families who rules USA using Fed.
