There’s just so many way it can be abused, I am curious at the logic behind the change tbh.

The thing about this is it would not only completely taint the DNC to anyone who is not a complete TDS NPC, it could also lead to massive Voting and Election reforms to make sure it never happens again. Mail-in voting will die first of all, we might see a Federal Voter ID come in and a unified more powerful and transparent election process.

I can make exceptions for absentee ballots if you have a reason (out of town for work, military, shit like that) But no more mass mail in bullshit, and you have to sign up and be approved for an absentee ballot.
The Real ID system that is being implemented in various states already fills the bill for Federal ID.
I'm even okay with subsidized ID for the poor.
Even though I remain unconvinced that they can't afford it, the best way to shut that argument down is to just give them one free of cost.
I'm okay with tax dollars being used to secure our elections.
I am also ok with this, its what 20 bucks for an 5 to 10 year investment? Cheap at the price.

In Brazil we have Voter ID. If you are poor the government gives you one for free paid with taxes.

Voter registration should be based on tax filings. That way some ways to commit voter fraud are aslo tax fraud, and will thus get prosecuted.
Make the voting machine go through the same process as companies going for a DOD contract do. Show it is good enough...
