Okay here are a few statement's I found that were from his journals

“Harrison and his ilk believe that the Displaced Person is a human being, which he is not, and this applies particularly to the Jews who are lower than animals,”

It's important to note that Harrisons August 1945 report was referring to how the US Military was treating Displaced Persons and the Report stated that the only change was replacing SS Guards with US Army soldiers. Eisenhower himself was insulted and offended by the comparison. But Patton was even more sensitive to it.

Patton also made one virulently anti semitic entry in his diary in September of 1945 when he was being criticized by Morgenthau and others for his occupation policies and the very real ideas Morgenthau and others entertained in regards to Germany.

Patton Diary said:
Evidently the virus started by Morgenthau and Baruch of a Semitic revenge against all Germans is still working. … Harrison and his ilk believe that the Displaced Person is a human being, which he is not, and this applies particularly to the Jews, who are lower than animals.”

And another.

Patton wrote. He told of taking his commander, Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, to tour a makeshift synagogue set up to commemorate the holy day of Yom Kippur.

“We entered the synagogue, which was packed with the greatest stinking mass of humanity I have ever seen. Of course, I have seen them since the beginning and marveled that beings alleged to be made in the form of God can look the way they do or act the way they act.”

Keep in mind I am not character assassinating the man ,their is ample enough evidence that the man himself wrote down himself which proves it.

That being said Anti-Semitism was a heck of a lot more common in people born in the late 1890's than later people so I don't hold it entirely against him as unlike the Nazi's his bigotry really didn't matter and only affected his relationship with others.

Nobody in USA cared about jews in 1944.When Poland send Karski to say about Holocaust, and they finally meet ,FDR stopped him and asked how much horses would Poland buy from USA after war.

Back to american knowledge - they knew, thatmost soviet fighters are shitty at 7.000m,they knew that soviet tanks and planes need american radios, soviet infrantry need american trucks, and entire army american trains.
They also knew, that their only refineries were in Baku and Ploesti - bothe easy target for B.17,not mention B.29.
Problem was with FDR - dude really belived, that /using his friend terms/ treating caucasian bandit as duke of Norfolk is good idea.
