Why do people say the Halo Scorpion Tank is lightly armored?

Don't you think the Halo Wars concept art specs for armor thickness could give an idea or is it a Shakey argument?

Cause they do mention armor thickness for the Rhino to be 250mm and it's visibly less armored than a Scorpion as well as a Prototype.

Possibly. I hadn't checked. But if it's armor is greater it could be up to 300mm.

I don't think I pointed out what should've been obvious to me I guess but even with a closed canopy or cockpit, that area is probably still vulnerable as well. I doubt the hatch is heavily armored and at best have a thickness probably a bit lower then the hatch on other tanks from how it opens and closes.

Small target but still likely a notable vulnerability.

I think the hatch is much thicker than we think. Next time on forge I'll use theater mode to see how thick it is.
