Provided President Trump wins re-election this year (which I think he will) I think this year is going quite well on the Culture War front. The radical left has gone openly insane and is not even trying for subtlety anymore, drowning out all the voices of any moderate leftists that are still around. There's a reason for this.
If the Republican Party can retain control of the Senate along with Trump winning re-election then the counter attack from Washington is going to be epic. President Trump has spent the last three years or so filling an absolute shitload of judicial vacancies. Highly qualified, legalist, young, judges who will be guiding America's legal system for many years to come. Even during all the COVID bollocks the Senate kept approving judges. A lot of people forget that Trump for all his bluster at times and the complaints from some about his way with the laws, is no stranger to legal matters. His sister is a highly qualified judge herself and according to reports even assisted him in picking some of the candidates for his appointments.
The economy has been going well for the past three years, unemployment was at its lowest rate ever for some demographics (including Black and Hispanics). No wars have been started overseas and Americas troops have been brought home. Now the COVID pandemic happened and the resulting government restrictions hit the economy of the USA hard (like it did many countries) BUT this also means that the next few months will see the US economy recovering from an artificially imposed depression. There's nothing seriously wrong with the underlying fundamentals of the US economy. If you thought the rate of growth before was impressive then just wait for the rate of economic growth and jump in employment each month after the pandemic restrictions ease. Already the Trump administration is off to a flying start after it turned out that the unemployment hit was no where near as bad as it was projected to be.
Now some localities (mainly Democratic ones) are still trying to impose restrictions but they have massively undermined their efforts there by embracing the BLM mass demonstration nonsense. America is opening for business whether they like it or not. At the same time the way they suddenly stopped caring about COVID and embraced a movement which has seen riots, looting and the breakdown of social order and now actual by God calls to abolish police forces has simultaneously made people question the shutdowns in the first place and now associate the Democrats with a lack of law and order.
Only a moderate left wing candidate stands a chance of getting elected to the Presidency (and its arguable to most federal offices) but any of them denouncing or instead trying to ride the tiger are being mauled by the radicals all the same.
The radical left doesn't scare me because ultimately they rely on Conservative backed institutions to pull most of their self-defeating shit. No police force? that's nice. Who is going to enforce the laws that a radical left legislature passes then? Morons. 😄
Conservatives just need to plant their feet, hold their nerve, go to work and all get out and vote in November and then after a victory, they can begin counter-attacking and hopefully re-taking the areas lost in the Culture Wars so far.
