Who else dreads this year?

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
I most likely will be voting for Trump, because despite his many flaws, just about everybody else is horrible. I would actually consider voting for Tulsi Gabbard, but the Democrat establishment isn’t going to let her anywhere close to the presidency.
Since you lived in the US you can say you have personally benefitted from his policies?

Well, to put it bluntly he's just not that good at the job.
If you aren't American why do you care I quite literally could not care less what some other country does, nor whether their leader is quote unquote good at their job.
Edit: quote didn't go through the first time.

I would say so, but it’s an extremely complex question. I vote more on other issues than the economy though. The Democrat platform is to essentially flood the nation with immigrants, bribe them for votes, until the USA as such is effectively eliminated. The position of most establishment Republicans is to look the other way while Democrats do that. Trump actually stood up against open borders and that goes a very long way with me.

Many reasons actually.

One, what happens in USA doesn't stay in USA, it spills all over the world sooner or later. They have tremendous impact on world politics, and cultural phenomena birthed in America have a way of worming themselves into the rest of the western world.

Two, I can't go two clicks without stumbling on something relating to US politics. From youtube recommendations to what people on forums say, I've been made to care about what happens in US politics through sheer osmosis.

Well before he took office a lot of people I knew had trouble getting work, that trouble is gone now... whether it is solely him I doubt it... but why would I trade this for some candidate who seems to be promising to steal more of my money.
Are the people you know also blue collars?

Mix, about half the people I know went professional, the other half never completed college. Both groups had trouble in the past.
That trouble had something to do with Wall Street and the housing crisis wasn't it?

Still good of them to get past that. Magic wand or not, the economy is doing alright for the US.

Anyone that worked in the oil fracking industry will not vote for Biden who'll take their jobs away.

I mentioned that answering questions about the economy is complicated, though some aspects more than others. Trump lowered the corporate income tax rate, which is like cleaning sand out of the gears of our economy and surely has contributed to some of our growing prosperity.

My husband and I bought a house a few years ago and are actually going to end up moving. From what I gather, housing prices are fairly high now, so ask me again in a few months how much I’ve been helped financially.

A topic where a government has to mull the cost benefit analysis.

It is benefiting the US in jobs and self reliance to not look to other countries like the middle east as a supplier.

Yeah, they still don’t really get around the fact that you guys in the US still use/need oil

And its much cheaper to get it in home territory than out

That would still be seen as something bad and pro-rich/anti-poor, mostly helps that I don’t think many understand economics that wel or fae

Yeah, corporate taxes get passed on to consumers, it increases the price of everything very often for working and middle class people. Also, a lot of the really big well connected corporation don’t pay income tax anyway or pay a reduced amount. Lower tax rates make smaller corporations more competitive with big ones.

To be fair, I think his point was most people wouldn’t understand that... while that is true they will understand the higher paychecks from the lower individual rates.

Too much taxes is bad too. I'm no economist to need to know that it will disrupt the country's economy with lots of poverty.

But there must always be a reasonable tax for society to function when using government services.
