I don’t think most Western Liberals know of or would even give credit to Trump for that

Plus, they live far away or in gated communities and don’t immediately see things getting better or are willing to deny it

That said, speaking of Trump, surprisingly Senki Zesshou Symphogear XV had him actually be a good guy who got plenty of american hackers to help out

And the anime usually had the Americans being sort of a problem
 
You know one thing I don’t dread? Japan turning FarLeft and deciding to bow to the UN and/or the West to censor their entertainment and let in loads of a certain demographic that would not even tolerate said entertainments’ existence

Helps that they’re getting rising birthrates somehow and besides what foreign immigrant workers there are there are mostly East Asian, I think, and probably much more assimilatable

Understandable. But I believe the refusal of the japanese goverment to ever acknowledge what they did during the WW2 made them immune to the SJW-retardation. It helps that they general view non-japanese with polite contempt.

I wonder how exactly though that Japan unlike the West has kept these guys from being beloved underdogs to the mainstream media?

Because, while they're not outright glorifying Stalin or Pol Pot or Mao, they do tend to show much sympathy and love for what amount to lower-level members who are fighting against the big capitalist powers

Yes but on the other thing is do you feel their lifestyle is quite busy that some would die of work or become socially withdrawn from society to contemplate world revolution?

Closest I can think is them having dudes imitating that small army of bald dudes from One Punch Man, complaining about work and how it reduces them to mere drones or something similar

Frankly, if Marvel/DC and other Entertainment industries went and started bashing them horribly, there would be a BIG customer revolt, GetWokeGoBroke becomes undeniable and suicide rates may increase

Yeah they already to varying degrees make fun of Otaku themselves whilst still showing sympathy or good thoughts on em but not to the extent of how Western Entertainment pretty much outright says that they hate and look down on their customer base and want them replaced by a new woke hipster crowd

have these people ever actually interacted with the hipster crowd? Id rather hang out with a 40 year old neck beard with a my little poney body pillow, wearing a tribly hat and a katana. He would at least be interesting to talk to.

I think they have interacted with both, but facing the reality won’t stop them from romanticizing the first and their bias from shitting on the other

They just also think the latter is more pathetic or disgusting to look at, whereas the first even if they do look dumb are supposed to be “the future” or some other bullshit

They want kids, especially young girls and minority ones and even LGBT kids to be their new audience, hipsters who are “gender nonconforming” are sort of representative of this progress.....yeah they REALLY want to be known for having a much younger audience “to inspire” than as you said a bunch of neckbeards or dudes who dedicate much of their time and money to their hobby and know lots of trivia
