When is punching to your right acceptable?

Foreign interventionism during the Cold War was a very different story than foreign interventionism before or since. The Soviet Union would absolutely have worked to systematically conquer the world and force communism on everyone if they were not opposed. Hell, they tried to do so even while being opposed.

Agreed.

As to big state, what particulars are you referring to?

Basically:

He was nowhere as bad as the obviously leftist presidents, and one could argue he was merely following the trend, but still... of course, question is how much he is to blame, and how much the Senate etc.

I provided it merely for the list. Even leftists will not lie when truth conforms to what they want to prove.

So, one chart, and a bunch of Libertarian talking points (a decent chunk of which were valid). How much of that chart's spending increase was military spending for the cold war, and how much of it was inflation?

Also, as a reminder, the Democrats still controlled both chambers of congress during the entirety of Reagan's presidency. The rebuke of Gingrich in there was much more on point, since he did have control of part of congress to work with.

Yeah people hate Reagan for the sins of his vice president forgetting one of George's sons had dinner with Hinkley a day or so before the assassination attempt and being a CIA dude and all prolly tried to kill Reagan and most certainly used his sons and friends to subvert the GOP.

Which brings me to my answer here- it's only acceptable during this stage of the culture war when it's against neocons and Rinos because those guys aren't actually right wing but infiltrators. @Rhyse Has the right of it that we ought to keep the potatoes out of the chefs wardrobe and we should probably also make sure we don't have rats in the kitchen.

Outside of that though, mock the ethnonats and move on. Attempting to cancel them denies us human resources to use against the enemy.
