*sigh* No it wasn't, it's been the case since well before the church had much if anything related to property. It's more that the priest is supposed to put the good of the community before the good of his own family. Therefore, a priests 'family' is supposed to be the whole of the Church, in a very broad and loose sense Holy Orders can be seen as a sort of marriage of the Priest to the Church (there's a reason the Church is historically called Mother Church...)

Have there been abuses, yes. Have there been abuses not related to family (see Simony), yes. Priests are people too, and are not perfect even if they are called to such. For those interested, read the works of St Peter Damian... and realize when you recognize precisely the problems the Church faces today in them that he wrote this over a thousand years ago.

I know, they even deny things like how what men and women like are different and accuse men of sexism while invading their hobbies

From my experience, the bulk of any feminist group is women who were already predisposed towards the kind of pathology Feminism brings about.
So to use your terms, they might not begin with an off putting personality, but they were already vulnerable to developing one.

From what I know, guys like Mark Waid in Marvel Comics was already a douchebag long before the 2010s or when SJWism went into overdrive and yeah, he was already Left Leaning with much of the other comicbook creators

1. SJWs can rarely get or sustain jobs in more technically-demanding fields. The mindset required to be an SJW isn't completely incompatible with the mindset required to be, say, an engineer, but it certainly isn't friendly to it. Hard facts are anathema to the radical left.

2. Media production often involves explicit fantasy. I write fantasy and science fiction myself, so I've got some idea how this works; you spend a fair bit of time with your mind in the world as you would like it to be.

3. Hard leftists drive heretics and heathens out. If you aren't part of the cult, they don't want to work with you, and once they have a strong hold on a given work place, they'll labor relentlessly to drive you out or force you to submit.

4. The media industry is rife with moral degeneracy, and moral degeneracy is the natural home of the hard left. This ties heavily into their desires to tear down and violate all societal norms they didn't create themselves.
