One problem, to use and interface with the armor you will need to have space marine augmentations, phisique and most importantly the black carapace.I had an idle thought - two actually - what are the weapon options for an inqusitor in TDA (Tactical Dreadnaught Armour):
1 - in WH40K - any edition. Although preferably 2nd to 5th, as I'm aquainted with these;
2 - in RPG spinoffs?
IIRC you need to be a powerful Psyker to use it, hence the GC are the only ones to have them.I suppose that power weapons - swords, fists and lightning claws (single or paired) are a given. Force weapons, maybe? Or are these "Librarian only"?
Well, if you can augment an Inquisitor to a level where he can use Terminator armor then anything the Gray Knights can use he can use.Shooty thingies - psycannon, stormbolter, plasmagun or pistol, melta pistol ... ?
Any combi-weapons (I'm partial to combi-bolters, combi-meltas and combi-flamers)?

We are talking about an inquisitor here, so yeah, depending on which Ordo he is from. Also, Grey Knights have a special kind of force weapons, nemesis weapons. Good luck getting any. Generic force weapons work on similar principle and pretty much any psyker can use those like a normal melee weapon, though some have training to do it better than average, and the more powerful psyker the more benefit he gets out of it. For non-psykers, a force weapon is just an overly expensive piece of metal, get a power sword or something instead.
Theoretically possible... but not only he has to have massive pull with the GK, he also has to be a good psyker and use power armor to boot if even that's enough for some bigger ones, the book basically suggests any Astartes weapon wielded by a human to have penalties left up to GM's reasoning, so in the end he may be better off with some custom anointed weapon or something like that anyway. We are talking about an inquisitor here, so yeah, depending on which Ordo he is from.
Malleus has the GK as theri chamber militant, and I am pretty sure that an inquisitor with enough pull from a different ordo could horse trade for some of that GK hardware.

True, that can be worn by Sisters of battle as they use power armor, too, but it alone will not be enough to let a regular human use Terminator armor.

Grey Knights Terminator
Purely out of curiosity, has literally any character fallen victim to the Rubicon's supposed 1-in-6 failure rate?Chapter Master Dante has crossed the Rubicon Primaris!
will not be enough to let a regular human use Terminator armor.
Yes. I remember reading a passing mention that Terminator Armour originally was a ... hazmat suit used by personnel in high radiation areas. Such lore is probably older than most board members , dating to c.1990.Terminator armor was originally designed for regular human use,
A number of Inquisitors are Psykers Eisenhorn, Ravenor, that Polish dude from Atlas Infernal, I think Cain's waifu, too.Theoretically possible... but not only he has to have massive pull with the GK, he also has to be a good psyker and use power armor to boot if even that's enough for some bigger ones, the book basically suggests any Astartes weapon wielded by a human to have penalties left up to GM's reasoning, so in the end he may be better off with some custom anointed weapon or something like that anyway.
Not to my knowledge. Also do the Sisters use a black carapace?
Note that a Space Marine needs the Black Carapace to use his Power Armour to its maximum capabilities, but Power Armour technology in general does not require this implant in order to function. The Sisters of Battle, for example, as well as some Inquisitors or wealthy Imperial functionaries such as Rogue Traders, also wear Power Armour into battle.
Yeah, but that's just 2 of 4 conditions. Does any one of them have that kind of close relations with GK? Eisenhorn for one has some special sword already and Ravenor isn't really in a shape to fight with a sword at all. And how many of them regularly fight in melee in a power armor?A number of Inquisitors are Psykers Eisenhorn, Ravenor, that Polish dude from Atlas Infernal, I think Cain's waifu, too.
As to pull, well, I think most inquisitors would be able to get quite a bit of pull if they put their minds to it.
You are not getting at what I am getting, dude.Yeah, but that's just 2 of 4 conditions. Does any one of them have that kind of close relations with GK? I think that would pretty much limit it to Malleus Lord Inquisitor - which would have far better chances to have that kind of pull and reputation, and also i somehow have an impression that in artwork it's usually Lord Inquisitors that are shown using power armor rather than line Inquisitors.
Yeah, all of these things are true for some inquisitors... But for one to get and use a Nemesis weapon, they have to be all true for one and the same person, chances of it being very dismal in total. Being a psyker is just a start. Then you need *massive* trust from GK even by Inquisitor standards. And then he also has to be a regular power armor user of pretty much peak 40k human physical ability and melee skill (probably with some heavy augmentation) to convince the GK that he is worth sparing such a rare weapon to, rather than being a stupid way to get him killed in combat because such a huge weapon is a pain in the ass for a human to handle, while meleeing daemons is hard enough with even most perfectly balanced and agile weapons. You are not getting at what I am getting, dude.
I am not saying that any of those will do it, I am saying that they have all displayed the ability to acquire very rare stuff and that they all have some degree of psykic potential, so having psyker inquisitors is not that uncommon.
And yeah, Ravenor is more for a full on rather than a tactical dreadnought.

And even if you somehow find such a rare individual, with such a set of boons chances are he may already have some other insanely good weapon already that is better suited to his capabilities anyway.
Also as far as acquiring very rare stuff goes, i think a Nemesis weapon is way up there. You may be more likely to see them use some kind of archeotech artifact or custom, reverse engineered xenotech than this.
AFAIK - a Nemesis weapon was a power weapon granting +2S to its psyker users, while a Force Weapon was a power weapon which a psyker could use to kill an enemy outright (by doing nasty things to their immortal soul). I dunno what it says about ease of manufacture ...I feel like a basic force weapon would be a lot easier to acquire than a nemesis weapon.
