For me it’s less an explosion of Civil War and more, one side will show it’s full position or how much they really are willing to go for their goals

The other side then shows how serious it is also, the former side backs off

I honestly think the best way for this to end is just to secede from the guys who dislike them a lot

No need for guns fired, but it shows an end to something that would have been dragged out

What started you on the road to being a doomer?

I got it from watching Metokur's corona virus videos of absolute shitposting doom that it's infecting me to shitpost doom posts and upset everyone.

Me? I’m sort of the belief that stupidity when applied to institutions both corporate and government or even religious, and espoused by the more vocal members

Is something that will last for quite a long while even as the consequences for said idiocy are already apparent

GetWokeGoBroke? Too long a process and they shrug off the losses in cash flow and keep promoting what was shown to fail before or blame it on someone else

The Soviet Union survived for decades, these guys can survive even longer. Survive but not necessarily prosper. And they can win long after they have lost due to said stupid people romanticising them.
 
Eh, as far as I can tell, they passed 7/8 gun control laws. I think they see it as the protest showed they have to boil the frog slower, put more work into dismantling gun organizations. The red flag laws should be plenty of ammo.

I think all this is is them admitting they have to limit themselves to a couple hundred gun owners oppressed per year, rather than a million: arrest someone for public drunkness? Red flag him, sieze all the guns in his house and ban him from buying more.

Most people wont immediately escalate any run in with the law to lethal action. So theyll do it peice by peice.

I fear the gun grabbers have won a perminant victory here.

Dragging it out will only make it so that they can hide their full position

Still think it’d be best to split off ASAP

You say this like the Soviet Union and the modern american left are in no way connected, like the countdown on the american left hasnt already been running for decades.

The Soviet Union helped make the modern American left with their connections to things like academia and Hollywood, and even without active secret support, their efforts kept making more and more sway and kept coming up with stuff

The Communists got rid of ordinary people's rights to guns even when Marx himself said that the proletariat should have guns

The countdown sorta finished for the Soviet Union, the modern American left being "moderate" and being sorta connected to "private businesses" helped hide the fact they were outright commies and slow the countdown

This is one example of accelerating the countdown, but time will only tell if people conveniently forget it
